Random Sentimonsters In The Paon Royale AU

āž¤Ā Storming Dove: Storming Dove is Aurore's sentimonster, and it's replacing Stormy Weather. It's a large bird with brown feathers, some white feathers, and a spiked beak. This bird controls the weather and can speak, as most sentimonsters will in this AU. The name is a play on the Mourning Dove, which is a type of bird. I congratulated myself after coming up with that.

āž¤Ā Pigeon Lord: Another bird-based sentimonster because I was too proud of Storming Dove to change it. This sentimonster is analogous to Mr.Pigeon and he has the same powers. The difference is that he is shirtless, muscled, and has a pigeon head. Some of Pigeon Lord's pigeons have special abilities such as coating themselves in flames, sharp teeth, and super strength. Honestly, I feel like the writers of the show were simply having fun when they came up with Mr. Pigeon, so I'm gonna make this crazier.

āž¤Ā The Chronicle: The Chronicle is replacing The Evillustrator. It's a sentient floating sketchbook that can create anything it wants. It can create anything, but it can only exist 30 seconds. Didn't really want to make it too overpowered so that it's able to be defeated. Nathaniel helps defeat it by throwing water on it, since that's a weakness all books have.

āž¤Ā Bodybuilder: Kim's sentimonster, replacing Dark Cupid. I felt like this fit Kim more than Dark Cupid due to his athleticism. It looks a lot like a human but has steel skin, slick red hair, and a sleeve-less jumpsuit with Dark Cupid's color scheme. Obviously, it has super strength and super jumps. It can also release beams from it's eyes that have the same effect as Dark Cupid's arrows.

āž¤ Eyebrarian: Gabriel's sentimonster, replacing the Collector. This sentimonster was modeled after what Gabriel thinks of Natalie. It has three eyes and the third eye can emit light, causing whatever gets hit by it to disappear and become a drawing in a book that it holds. It has enhanced agility, making it hard to hit.

Hypothetical Cobra Kai Musical Songs (Season 3)

Sorry this took a while, school was cooking me like turkey.Ā

What if Cobra Kai was or had a Musical? Well, this is what I think a couple of the songs in Season 3 would be like.

First up is DEFINITELY a song about the community reacting to the whole karate war situation. It ranges from negative takes to positive takes, basically a bunch of random people singing and maybe some of the secondary characters can throw in their two cents. As a base, think Hatchet Town from Nerdy Prudes Must Die. Wow, crazy how that’s not the first time I’ll be referencing NPMD.The second to last verse is a mashup of everyone else’s. Anyway, I’m thinking maybe Johnny can have the last verse as he laments over what could’ve possibly gone so wrong. I’d just call it Aftermath, after the episode.Ā

Now, Episode 1 has a ton of moments that could be musicalified, but I narrowed it down to just two, the second of which being a reprise of Fall Again from Season 2, but this time sung about and to Miguel as he’s in comatose.

Okay so, I completely forgot that Miguel wakes up from his coma in Episode 1, I had a song idea for that I guess I can just put it here. It’s like Courage in Me (Christina Vee Cover) from the Miraculous Movie had a baby with Scarface. It’s a blood-pumping, dance-rock track about Miguel fighting to wake up from the coma, lighting the fire within him to win in the mind tournament his comatose-ness was portrayed as. I’d call it Power In Me, and yes I know it’s dangerously close to Courage In Me, shush.(Off topic but I’m surprised they haven’t used Scarface on the show yet).

Now, to Episode 2. This episode is kind of all over the place in terms of events, so I was only able to find one place where a song would be appropriate. Remember that hypothetical Kreese solo I mentioned in Season 2. Here it is, at the tail end of the episode. It’s called Black and White, and it’s inspired by Be Prepared and military rock. He basically sings about his world view, about how all their lives they’re told to be good, but good is a matter of perspective. He tells his students that their enemies view themselves as heroes, and them as villains, and that they must shed their weakness like true cobras. It’s basically just Kreese’s villain song.

Hmmm, from what I’m thinking, I can’t come up with a song for Episode 3. This might change as I continue through the doc. For now, just imagine a reprise of Clockwork.

Next is an admittedly odd choice, but it’s a Kumiko song. It’s a ā€˜Colors of the Wind’-esque song about their past and their connection and how far Daniel’s come. I don’t have many thoughts on it and honestly it’s just a song I put in because 1, I feel like this musical’s become too rock heavy, and 2, I didn’t want to leave two episodes in a row songless.

However, what I will NOT call an odd choice is my next song, a Chozen solo. It’s basically Chozen telling Daniel about Miyagi’s forced-to-kill scenarios, and teaching him how to do pressure points. He explains that defense takes many forms. I’d probably name it True Devotion, but it’d be one of those songs where the name doesn’t pop up in the actual song because I’m not too sure about the name.

HAZBIN HOTEL SEASON 2 LEAK SPOILERS ALERTĀ

Now, I don’t know where to put this, but I’d really like to fit a Tory villain song somewhere, I mean, she’s a genuine cartoon villain in Seasons 2-3. Her song would be….okay, I know it’s very bad to spread leaks, I myself was pissed after I watched this because I thought it was a fanwork and later realized it was a leak, but it’s just perfect for comparison. It would be almost exactly like Like Gravity from the Hazbin Hotel S2 leaks. I imagine it would have Kreese as ad libs pulling her to the dark side. I’d call it Run Dry, with the lyric ā€œAnd now the patience well’s run dryā€.

ALRIGHT LEAK SPOILERS OVER

Afterwards, a Sam solo taking place after the arcade fight, all about how afraid she feels of Tory after the school fight. She admonishes herself for being too cowardly to save her friend, admits that she’s terrified of being hunted and hurt like that again. She also links fighting Tory to Miguel’s injury, which is just not great for her. It’d probably be similar in genre to Familiar from Steven Universe, a soft, boopy, sad song that makes you feel bad for the gorl. Maybe I’ll call it Frozen, link it with the lyric ā€œFrozen in fearā€ maybe? Not exactly sure. I’d probably base it on like, the first verse and chorus of Speechless, the hopeless tone of it would be pungent in this song. A unique idea for this is that it’d be short, like a minute and a half, for reasons you will find out later in this post.

And now…for the Binary Bros.

After the arm-breaking thing, you’d expect me to have a song idea for them right. WRONG. I have THREE song ideas for them, but they can’t all coexist because giving them like, 3 songs seems like dragging the issue out. One of them is a duet, and the other two are solos for both of them, so I’ll dive into them now.

The duet first. Kind of off-topic but did you know that Diary of a Wimpy Kid has a musical? Well, there’s a song in this musical called ā€˜Dear Diary’, and that song has the exact vibe I want for this one. I want it to be both of them lamenting and wondering how their friendship could’ve gotten to this point, and how they both still yearn for each other (platonically or romantically if you’re into the ship), despite being on opposite sides of the karate war.Ā

It would first show Hawk alone trying to convince himself that what he did was right, but then the mask comes off and he sullenly sings about how much he regrets what he did, and how the nature of his actions in the past few months are slowly starting to set in. It would have remnants of his sonata from Season 2 and it would all be about the regret.

And then Demetri’s verse would kick in, and it would have the structure of Under The Radar, but be as sullen as Hawk’s verse. Demetri is singing that he physically cannot believe that they’ve stooped this low as he looks over old pictures of the two of them, reminiscing on the old days and how good they used to be. He looks inward, thinking about how he could’ve stopped this, how he could’ve helped his friend before he turned to the dark side.Ā

And then the last chorus would start and it would just be a crushing duet between the two of them, both of them essentially saying the same thing with different words: I miss my friend.

I don’t talk about the visuals of these hypothetical songs enough, let me do it now. The visuals would be of them soaring through the universe, dodging planets and astroids and other astronomical objects to get to each other, which would represent how they’ve overcome every obstacle in their friendship until now. And then they would get to one planet, one half of it is black with the Cobra Kai logo, and the other is white with the Miyagi Do logo, and no matter how much they fly around it, the planet rotates to keep them both on their respective sides. They plant their hands on the planet, and the colors of their sides start to take over their bodies as they passionately sing the final lyrics. And then, when they repeat the last lyric, all of the visuals fade away and it shows them just standing with their heads against the wall, but it’s shown in a split-screen kinda way so it looks like their touching foreheads.Ā  I don’t know if I explained that well enough, but this section is long enough. The song would be called My Other Half.Ā

On to the solos, first, Demetri’s, a few weeks ago I wrote a Demetri version of All 2 U from Helluva Boss, it’s not perfect but I put my whole writerussy into it. Anyway, I think this hypothetical song would be like a cross between All 2 U and Lost In The Woods from Frozen 2. In my mind, it has the emotional rawness of All 2 U, but the message is a mix of both. You know that one interview where Gianni says that Demetri can’t function without Eli, so I’m taking that and running with it. This song is basically Demetri’s mini-mental breakdown, where the mask comes off and he reveals just how much he has been hurting emotionally, having had his other half ripped away from him. It would have guitars, drums, just like the songs I mentioned as basises, it would be all around depressing. But it would end on a sort of happy determined note of Demetri saying he’ll wait for Eli to come back to him and see the light. The song would literally be called Back To Me.Ā

And then, Hawk’s solo, Hawk would try a little bit harder to keep the mask on, singing about how this is the right way and he deserves to be strong after everything he’s been through, he needs to be strong after all the ways he’s grown. And then it comes off as he sings, ā€œBut what if I’m the monster?ā€ It’s basically everything his verse in My Other Half is but longer. I think it’d be similar to Loser Geek Whatever (casually steals @embryoed’s idea), but like, crossed with Micheal in the Bathroom. I’d just call it Monster.Ā

WOO finally, that section’s over. God DAMN. After that absolute trio of terror, I think we deserve a fun song.

This next song is called Who Are We, and it’s centered around Johnny, Miguel, and the rest of the soon-to-be Eagle Fang coming up with a cool name. It’s a kooky, chill, pump up fun song of Johnny trying to get the eagles hyped up in hopes that they’ll help him come up with a name. Everyone suggests horrid names.Ā

And then, next a Carmen solo. It’s basically that moment where she apologizes for blaming Johnny and that she was hurt by what happened. She exposits almost the whole story about their life, how they immigrated in from Mexico because Miguel’s father was a horrible man, and how he’s had complications his whole life and how she’d do anything for him, yada yada. I’d probably call it Historia De Nuestras Vidas, or ā€˜Story of our Lives’ in Spanish…probably, idk I used Google Translate because I cheated my way through spanish class last year. It’d sound slow and sultry like something you’d hear in a musical episode of a telenovela. Oddly I’d want the verses to sound like the verses in Bum Biddy from Eight Crazy Nights, which is funny as hell. That song just has a really good structure.

After that, a song that takes place in the appeal. It starts out with Kreese pulling a Kreese, waving his ex-military status and PTSD around like a get out of jail free card and claiming that Miyagi-Do started the violence, painting them as the villain and infuriating Daniel and Amanda. Then, Daniel steps in, singing about the true story of how it all started, which not a lot of people actually believe because of Daniel’s history. Then, Johnny interjects, actually supporting Daniel (partially), and sharing about how Kreese’s methods destroyed his life and sent him on a downwards spiral. It devolves into an argument until Miguel shows up, singing the last verse about how he was bullied before he started learning karate, about how there will always be bullies and karate is all about standing up to them. I’d call the song Karate Belongs In Northridge, but the title wouldn’t show up in the song lol.

Then…alright, you’ve had a break from the emotional hits, it’s time for another.Ā

Robby’s pseudo-villain song, let’s GO. I call it a ā€˜pseudo-villain’ song because honestly, compared to what I have coming up for this guy, this song is child’s play.

Anyway, it’s basically Crossing the Line from Tangled with more guitars, it takes place after he finds Miguel and Sam kissing, and he’s on his way to Cobra Kai. Like Clockwork, it starts with him singing about everyone who’s screwed him over, starting with Johnny, the sperm donor who abandoned him for years, made a weak attempt to reconnect just to be able to say that he did, and then replaced him with another teenage boy.

And then Miguel, who he felt he could never measure up to for anyone, the boy who took everything away from him.

And then Sam, who made him feel like he could be loved and then it turned out he was basically a placeholder to her.

And finally, the one that stung the most: Daniel. He made Robby feel important and that he had potential, only to throw him away at the slightest inconvenience.Ā

After that, he launches into the chorus, singing about how he’s putting the walls back up stronger than ever before, about how he’s learned from every betrayal and figured out that he can only trust and look after himself. He’s been the scapegoat for far too long, so he’s taking his life back, and Shifting the Narrative. (That’s the name of the song if you couldn’t already tell, which you probably could)

And then, no more songs. That’s right, Episode 9 doesn’t get a song, because we have to prepare for the next and final song: a Sam-Tory duet (kind of).

It starts with Tory, singing in a similar manner Hawk did when hunting Demetri in Season 2’s finale. She’s singing about how karma’s caught up to Sam and now she pays for everything she’s done. She calls Sam a snob, a nepotism baby, one of those people who thinks the world should all that usual rhetoric she used to throw around to excuse her actions, and Sam’s taking the brunt of her rant and attacks…until she shatters the Miyagi Do picture.

Every memory she’s had of Miyagi flashes through her mind at once, and she gets so pissed off that the trauma literally gets scared and leaves. It’s like an unforgiving, cold rage, which leads me into my next sentence: the reason Frozen is so short is because it’s the first half of this song. And now, we enter the second half: Avalanche.Ā

I literally wrote up these lyrics:

Every sting, every lesson, every tear, every second wasted petrified and fearing for my life

Every dream, every vision, every nightmarish decision piercing straight through my psyche like a knife

I’ve listened to all your baseless accusations, your bold and faceless condemnation

And it’s built up in my soul with the goal to take control until it all bubbles over like an avalanche

So yeah, this song is intense. It’s Sam saying she is DONE with Tory’s bullshit and beating her ass while singing. Honestly, I’d probably compare it to Stronger Than You in terms of message. Tory thinks she knows exactly who and what Sam is, but she hasn’t even begun to understand who Sam is, everything that she’s been through, everything that’s made her who she is today. And now, she’s going to show her.Ā

And yeah, that’s the last song of the season. An intense bop about Sam owning tf out of Tory.Ā

This was honestly the funnest season to conceptualize for so far. I especially liked thinking about Avalanche, if someone takes my idea and makes it a reality, that song is going to be therapeutic. And I do hope I broke some hearts with the trio of terror that is the binary bros’ songs.

These posts got a lot more attention than I though they would. Off topic, but sometime in the near future I’m thinking about writing a kind of Cobra Kai parody/rewrite fanfic, it would exaggerate some plot points for laughs while completely changing others, and I would structure it like a normal TV show (26 episodes per season). It would also be a jukebox musical, probably using the songs I used as basis’ in these post.Ā  Would y’all read that? Let me know. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed, and as always, if you have suggestions, don’t hesitate to share.

Yeah, he doesn’t do much, though

What if the Ladybug wielder could speak things into existence? Like, say a previous Ladybug made up the word "platypus" and all of a sudden semi-aquatic egg-laying mammals popped up in the world?

I mean, if she needs a platypus, she probably could get one.

Hypothetical Cobra Kai Musical Songs (Season 4)

Did this take a while? Yes. Does this season contain some of my favorite song ideas? Also yes.

What if Cobra Kai was or had a Musical? Well, this is what I think a couple of the songs in Season 4 would be like.

Now, for the first song, I originally had an idea of making a song out of Daniel and Johnny’s conflicting teaching styles ala Hell’s Greatest Dad, but then I had a better idea: a reprise of Black and White, but this time it’s Kreese singing it directly to Robby, telling him about how Johnny was the best there was but Robby has more potential than he ever did, and if Robby follows Kreese’s instructions. The end of the song has Robby considering it for just a moment…before outright saying, ā€œ....yeah, no.ā€ And then going back to training by himself.Ā

And then, a Tory solo, basically you know that moment that Tory has of her bitching and moaning about Sam and her richness to Robby in Season 4? It’s basically that but a song. It’s very reminiscent of The Girl Who Has Everything from Tangled but like, an inverse. ā€œShe gets to be the girl who has everything, the world’s on a golden string, wrapped on her hand.ā€ Like that. I’d probably call it Golden String.Ā

And after that, another reprise. Yeah, sorry, I know there’s a lot of reprises already but this is like, the fourth out of six seasons, there’s bound to be a bunch of reprises. Anyway, it’s a reprise of Second Chances Don’t Exist but it’s Robby singing it directly to Sam. It clearly shows that Tory’s words got in his head a little bit, and it carries a bit of the same messages as Shifting the Narrative and Clockwork, Robby saying that Sam’s all out of luck and that she’s used him for too long, and that he’s going to be the first person to tell her that she’s not getting what she wants.

Then, a Kreese and Silver duet, it’s 100% The Other Side from The Greatest Showman. It revolves around Kreese trying to convince Silver to come back to Cobra Kai. Kreese is saying all kinds of shit about how he doesn’t belong living a peaceful, fulfilling life with his smoking hot wife and thriving business, he belongs in an American teen karate dojo indoctrinating kids into the Cobra Kai cult. That’s a joke, he doesn’t say that, but he does say that Silver belongs in Cobra Kai. Then Silver claps back with how he’s living his best life and he doesn’t need a teen karate dojo to feel complete, he literally has a line asking if Kreese has anything better to do than this. It ends with Kreese leaving while holding one last line, smirking because he already knows he wormed his way into Silver’s head. I’ll call the song You Know You Want It.Ā

And then, odd choice for the next song, I know: a Kenny solo. I’d call it A Brand New Day, and it’s a soulful, upbeat song about how Kenny’s luck has always been down but at this new school, in this new town, it’s all going to work out in his favor. It’s something you’d hear in a musical coming-of-age movie while the protagonist is rushing to school. The basis would definitely be Almost There from Princess and the Frog, mostly because soul is in Kenny’s blood (I’m black, I can make that joke, trust). The tone would drastically shift when Kenny gets caught dancing by the bus, and he sings the last altered chorus in a much sadder and uncertain tone as he walks to his seat on the bus. As he sits down, he sings the last words, ā€œBut it’ll be all uphill…from here.ā€Ā

Okay, here’s where that song I mentioned a little earlier as what could’ve been the first song comes in. It’s a song between Daniel and Johnny, taking place in that part of Episode 2 when they decide to try out each other’s style. It’s similar to Hell’s Greatest Dad in my mind but also, funnily enough, Pandemonium from Trollstopia. That show has some peak music, I swear. Anyways, it would start with Daniel teaching Johnny about the peaceful, counter-focused ways of Miyagi Do, with a serene instrumental full of light drums, ukeleles, and trumpets. And then Johnny’s verse starts and all of that turns up to eleven, the drums get more intense, ukeleles become guitars, and trumpets become fucking war horns. He teaches Daniel about the rough and tumble, offense-focused ways of Eagle Fang. Daniel cuts in, saying that it’s all suspiciously similar to Cobra Kai, but Johnny cuts him off, singing a verse about how he’s not teaching villainy, he’s teaching stuff that’ll help his students defend themselves. The heart of Eagle Fang lies in that of strength, but not strength for the sake of power, but strength for the sake of protecting oneself and those you love. Daniel’s like, ā€œWow, Johnny, that’s actually pretty-ā€ and then Johnny goes, ā€œAnd also being BADASSā€. I’d call it Fire and Ice (placeholder name).

Then Learn Fly is a long ass episode, jesus christ. Anyways, the next song is a reprise of You Know You Want It, it takes place when Silver bursts into the Cobra Kai dojo to yell at Kreese. Silver rants about how his life was all fine and dandy until Kreese had to come back and dredged up the past, getting in his head. Kreese calls him out about his happy ending bullshit, about how he was never really complete. Silver retorts and Kreese responds with how he doesn’t trust anyone in the world more than he trusts Silver (gay) because he knows they're the same (still gay). It ends with Silver agreeing to rejoin Cobra Kai.

And then, it’s time for my second favorite mentor-mentee dynamic in the show, that being Robby and Kenny. Their song is called Challenges, and it’s Robby-dominant, he’s singing to Kenny about how life will bring you challenges and no matter how much you run, they’ll catch up eventually. He says the best thing he can do is use what he already has to conquer those hardships. It’s supposed to be uplifting, and it’s also supposed to feel more Miyagi-Do based than Cobra Kai based because that’s what Robby is. He’s filtering Cobra Kai’s harsh teachings through Miyagi-Do’s to try and make Kenny strong without making him a dick. Think Dangerous from EPIC the Musical.Ā

And then, surprisingly, a Daniel song. It’s very similar to My Little Reason Why from Steven Universe Future in tone, and it takes place when Daniel and Miguel are talking in the autoshop. It’s basically a prolonged version of that scene, with Daniel re-iterating something Miyagi once told him as he tends to do. He tells the story of how he blew his college savings on a trip to okinawa, came back with more than he had before, and then used that to open a bonsai tree store. The song is mostly about how nobody’s path is a straight line, and compares Miyagi-Do’s teachings to life-it’s basically just that scene as a song. It would be short, maybe a minute and a half long? I have no clue what to call it though, lol.Ā

Now, for my favorite song idea of this season. I really wanted to give Bicelphy a song, but despite being a very good episode, it’s plot is all over the place to the point where I can’t find anywhere to actually put a song. But I guess it’s good because the lack of songs prepares the viewers for this absolute banger. It takes place when Hawk gets his mohawk shaved off by Cobra Kai, but at first, only Robby walks in, it’s not the entire gang. However, he has a message to send. They have a little spoken dialogue with Robby saying that Hawk hasn’t actually grown any since leaving Cobra Kai, that he’s still the same old bully he was when he was in the snake dojo, he just changed targets. Guess it doesn’t matter what he does, just who he does it to. And then, Hawk goes to attack, and Robby catches his fist, and that’s when the song starts.Ā

They start fighting while Robby is singing about how Hawk thought he could get away with one meek little apology to one person, and that the consequences of his actions wouldn’t catch up to him. The bridge is him recounting Eli’s crimes, which leads into the chorus.Ā

And then the second verse is still Robby-heavy, but Eli also has a few lines, calling Robby a hypocrite for acting like he’s a complete saint, but Robby counters, saying most of his transgressions were accidents, but Hawk was a straight up fucking villain.Ā Ā

And then, the last kind of verse. Now, the basis for this song would be Nerdy Prudes Must Die, so after the second verse, I want a segment that’s like ā€˜Who will pray for me’, but not exactly ā€˜Who will pray for me’, or too much like ā€˜Who will pray for me’. Really the best vision I have for it IS ā€˜Who will pray for me’ so it’s hard to imagine something similar but different. This song would also have inspiration from, oddly enough, Play My Way by Jakeneutron. It would be a mix between soft, hard, and alternative rock, and the visuals would be kind of horror in a way. It ends with Hawk proclaiming that he’s not a monster, referencing his solo song in Season 3. I’d probably call it Karma Came Back.

The next song is a Tory solo that portrays her in a MUCH better light. It takes place after her conversation with her aunt, and in this version, Tory holds out for a day or two before going to Amanda, and she happens to work multiple jobs those days, which sucks for her but also works for me because her cycling through those jobs can be the visuals for this song. This song is similar to Surface Pressure from Encanto, it shows just how much Tory has on her shoulders, everything she has to do to keep her family afloat and take care of two people. Amanda’s words kind of echo in her head, but she denies needing help from anyone, saying she’s been doing just fine. I think this song should be country, just because I think it’d be funny to draw inspiration from 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton lol. Also, Survivor by Reba MacEntire. I’d call this song Long Enough because the chorus will probably have a line like, ā€œI’ve been doing this long enoughā€ or smth.

Next up, another Binary Brothers song, a kind of hype-up song in the same vein as You Are Ladybug from the Miraculous movie. It centers around Demetri trying to re-ignite the fire in Eli, telling him that the mohawk was not who he is. Demetri lists Eli’s crowning achievements, but Eli counters with ā€˜but I was The Hawk then’. Demetri keeps trying to encourage Eli, while not mentioning all the crimes he committed just yet. It tries to paint Hawk in a positive light, but Eli’s guilt eats him up while he protests. I don’t have many ideas for this one, and really it’s only here because I think it pretty much has to be. I’d call it Back to Reality, and it’ll definitely have references to Back To Me in there.

And after that, a Hawk solo. I want this number to be BIG, because it’s one of those huge, self-reflection, realization numbers that shows Eli’s journey so far. The first verse revolves around Eli mourning the Hawk, about how the hair was the only thing keeping the weakness from creeping back up on him, how it made him feel stronger than he’d ever been in his life, and now that it was gone, it felt like all of that strength was ripped from his body. The instrumental for this part would be soft, solemn, mournful of the man Eli used to be.Ā Ā

And then after the chorus, it starts to pick up, slight traces of guitar in the second verse where Eli recounts the achievements of the Hawk, and then, halfway into it, he remembers the crimes of the Hawk, the overflowing hatred and aggression that filled his being at that time that caused him to hurt so many people, even his best friend, his other half. He questions if the Hawk is even worth mourning before the second chorus starts up with electric guitars and drums, much louder and passionate than the first:

Is this the end of an era?

Is this the end of my spark?

Uncertainty plagues, whatever remains

And seeps through the cracks in my heart

Is this the start of new age

Is this the beginning of something new?

And does it start with me walking away from you?

Then, a bridge where Eli debates himself, internally questioning if he even deserves the chance to bounce back, if he should even get back into the karate war. It goes on like that for a while before a suspenseful silence.Ā

I should probably mention the visuals for this song because they’re important. Most of this song takes place in a starry void that represents Eli’s thoughts. For the bridge of the song, it has Eli literally fighting the Hawk, similar to how the actual show had Miguel fight a dark version of himself when he was in that coma. They fight all throughout the bridge, until suddenly, they stop, and Hawk extends a hand to Eli, obviously telling him to slip back into the Hawk. Eli almost takes it, their hands get really close…and then Eli doesn’t shake Hawk’s hand, instead walking past him as an altered chorus plays over a choir-like sound:Ā

This is the end of an era

But it’s not the ending of mine

Ejected the wrath, to form a new path

A road of angelic design

This is the start of a journey

One that was long overdueĀ

And that journey began by walking away from you

Yeah, so, in this musical version, Eli never goes back to the Hawk, he just stays Eli for the rest of the series. This song shows Eli outgrowing the Hawk, accepting that he doesn’t need it, he never needed it, he just needed the confidence and strength to get back up again and keep pushing through. And of course, it would be called End of an Era.

Next episode, the song is a Silver solo that has a jazz type beat in a similar vein to Smile Like You Mean It by Paranoid DJ, it’s about how everyone has a weakness that can be exploited, a weak spot, an Achille’s Heel. He’s singing this to Kenny after the sparring match with Robby, with Robby standing by and listening. Robby tries to cut in multiple times, but he gets cut off and bumped aside by Silver, who just keeps on singing his funky little beat with sinister undertones. He tells Kenny that even though every future opponent is tough, they all have a wound you can rub salt in. That would be an actual lyric, lol. If you think this is Silver’s ā€˜villain’ song, you’re mistaken, it’s just a fun little song for him. I’d legit call it Achille’s Heel.Ā

And then, a Robby and Tory love song, these two HAVE to have one. They’re my favorite teen couple…or at least they were, before Season 6 RUINED THEM (fuck season 6, all my homies hate season 6). The scene would be very different from canon. It would start with Tory venting about everything going on in her life, her struggles, the responsibilities on her shoulders, the consequences of her actions, and how she’s probably just screwed everything up again after the party. After the second stanza, Robby cuts in, singing about how Tory’s a better person than she thinks she is. He admits how he’s seen a softer, stronger, better side of Tory ever since he started training with Cobra Kai. Then in the second verse, Robby drops his own lore about how everyone he’s ever cared for has either thrown him away or abandoned him, which is mostly why he admires Tory’s devotion to her family. Tory sympathizes and the next chorus starts up, ba di ba, the last chorus has them both singing together., normal love song stuff. I hate that I don’t have as many ideas for this one as others, but it is what it is. It’d take inspiration from Stronger Together from the Miraculous Movie and maybe Loser, Baby from Hazbin Hotel. I’m thinking of either calling it Stronger With You or Stand By You.Ā

Next, one you actually might not have expected, a Miguel solo. A sad as fuck Miguel solo to contrast the upbeat love song we just got. It would take place after Johnny says ā€œI love you too Robbyā€ to Miguel. In this version, it starts after Miguel finds some random guitar in Johnny’s house and decides to start playing it and sings his emotions, normal musical shit. The song is about how Miguel being lost, how he’s never really fully known who he is, and the fact that he doesn’t know anything about his father. He’s had a dad-shaped hole in his heart, and Johnny had a son-shaped hole in his heart, so Miguel was hoping they could help each other, but now Miguel realizes that he was wrong to think that, and thinks he’ll never be a true son to Johnny, not the way Robby is. And the ending of this song would foreshadow the Mexico arc, with the last couple of lines being about how he’ll walk down his own road to find out where it began. It’d be similar in tone to I Will Be Okay from Helluva Boss, and also Everything I Ever Thought I Knew from Tangled The Series. And I’d maybe call it Take His Place, and the lyrics for the chorus would be like, ā€˜If I could take his place, be worthy in your eyes, take the opportunity he’d gone and thrown aside’. And then at the end of the scene, Miguel would flip the guitar over, and see the words written on the back of it:...’For Robby’. And now, for the (probably) penultimate song of this season, a reprise of Karma Came Back, but sung by Kenny to Anthony during the locker room scene. Same message, same instrumental (with a little more soul in it maybe), and the horror cranked up to 11.Ā

And now, finally, the last song of CKTM Season 4: the Johnny and Robby duet. The INEVITABLE Johnny and Robby duet. The Johnny and Robby duet that practically has to happen and it happens exactly when you think it happens. It’s definitely taking inspiration from More Than Anything from Hazbin Hotel. It’s Johnny and Robby reconciling, they’re apologizing, they’re crying, they’re hugging, they’re singing at the top of their lungs, etc. The song would be called Try Again, and it’ll have aspects of Fall Again, Second Chances Don’t Exist, Clockwork, Who Are We, everything, it would almost be a medley, all saying that they’re going to try again.

And that’s the end of this season, we have two more posts to go. Well, more like, one and a half. Yeah, sorry to break it to yall but Season 6 is deadass so abysmal that I couldn’t think of good song ideas that didn’t just rewrite the whole damn thing, and I’m not here to rewrite, so Season 6’s not getting a post. Also I wanted to throw a Sam song in here about no one understanding the pain and trauma she’s experienced, and frustration over everyone wanting her to just let it go, but I couldn’t find an appropriate place to put it except Miguel’s song so I basically had to choose between them, and Miguel didn’t sing, like, at all this season, so I had to give him something. Anyways, hope yall enjoy, and as always, make your criticisms and suggestions known I’d love to read them.

Elimoon is going to have a respectful breakup where they realize they are not each other’s true loves and are much better as friends, remaining close even though it’s platonic love they share instead of romantic.

Yasmetri is going to crash and burn, setting fire to several city blocks in the process, resulting in beef that lasts for YEARS before one of them decides to at least try and make amends (probably Demetri, but you’ll be damned if you think he’s not gonna be as annoying as possible about it).
