That does sound nice, but having like two, maayyybe three other people to love and protect, who dote on you, who you can find cuddling on the couch and you can just join in, who will team up to create an unstoppable force intent on taking care of you if you’re ever in trouble or sick, who you can conspire with to make your partner’s day, also sounds really nice to me.
I don’t know if I want a throuple or an extremely tight knit friend group that I can cuddle with and who I can count on to always be there. A group I can completely devote myself to, that devotes themselves to us. A package deal, you want one, you get all.
I really love monogamy. I want to be obsessed with one person and have them be completely obsessed with me.
