Animation Vs Sky - Blog Posts

My friends took me to visit The Memorial in Sky yesterday, and I finally decided to act on the idea I had been entertaining for a while. Inspired by sammy8d257 (they posted some drawings where they edited the sticks onto pictures of their trip, if I am not mistaken. I tried going back to find the post but I couldn't so correct me if I'm wrong and you know what I'm talking about) and @sxncvut, who was an absolutely wicked art style, might I add, and the fact that I'm also working on a SkyxAvA Crossover. So I drew these two pictures! The Memorial is a place of mourning. I think Chosen would use it as such. Tried my best with the ligthing, unsure if I'm happy with how it came out but oh well. We live and learn, don't we? I might do more, if anyone is interested in seeing the other sticks, in other places. I don't think I'll draw them with their wings (mainly because I only have three wings designed so far) but I guess if someone really wants to see some epic art of them flying with their wings, I can figure out something.

Alright alright! It's Chosen time!

So. For those who may be Sky savy, the immediate glaring issue is that Chosen doesn't have a cape. Except, actually, she does! Her cape is just invisible and actually only bursts of fire when you flap! I thought having a cape that was actually not there would open up a lot of possibilities outfit wise. If you get it, of course,because his stuff, as you can see, are the Ultimate Gifts!

Yes, this is why SC doesn't have Ultimate Gift privileges: Chosen is hogging them all.

I could keep ramblings, but we'll see. If anyone gas questions don't be afraid to ask! :D

Alright here it is! I'm working on this silly little crossover idea for AvA and Sky: CotL, and I so want to share! For starters, about the crossover:

It's called either Animation vs. Sky or Season of Animation, depending on what angle you approach it from. For those who know Sky: the idea is to set it up exactly like a season would work, with cosmetics and a story line and a role for the player and everything. For those who don't know Sky: One, go play it, it's free, fun,and so pretty, and Two, basically just means that each character is going to get their own unique set of wings!

But anyways! First up is SC, who is also the Season Guide (for non-Sky-ers: 'tis means they give you the quests over the duration of the season). Their wings always look drawn, so no shading on them. I figured that would be a really cool, distinct cosmetic compared to Sky's art style. Also the couch is literally just the signature couch. It would be the item at the top of their tree. One itsy bitsy thing though... Their items are not the Ultimate Gifts (non Sky folks, don't worry about this). I have made an executive decision to break the rules a bit, mostly because there's someone with a cooler set of cosmetics coming up that was more deserving of that honor >:D

I'll be sharing more art for this and any ideas I have from now on. Eventually I'll write stuff for it. But in the meantime don't be afraid to ask me about this! Or suggest ideas! I actually don't know what the capes for everyone else will look like (aside from Chosen, Green, and Purple) so I am open to all ideas for our favorite boogers.
