eve (may 20th) is a taurus sun, capricorn moon, and cancer rising

coneri (december 9th) is a sagittarius sun, virgo moon, scorpio rising

What was your arcane OCs' upbringing like?

cracks knuckles. ok so. coneri

CONERI grew up in zaun. born and raised in zaun, specifically the part of the city above the lanes. grew up with his momma (murigen) and started working in the gold mines when he was 10 because #childlabor. his dad (emanuel) is the second-in-command for the enforcers of piltover and he's not Married to murigen. coneri learned pretty quickly growing up that the only two options are to listen or to die. if you don't listen to your superiors in the mines, you will die. if you don't listen to your dad, then, well.

when he's 12 he has to mercy kill another kid from a mine collapse and he has normal thoughts about this.

murigen has an immunocompromised disease that was sped up by working in the mines. coneri also has this and it affected him by making him get miner's lung much worse and more severe than most other miners his age.

coneri always wanted More. he's smart, incredibly so, but very practical in it. he loves construction and specifically bridges. in another life, where he's allowed to be smart, he'd probably go to the piltover academy and get a degree in civil engineering. but instead he gets to be silco's dog.

occasionally emanuel would bring a little girl with him to visit zaun. coneri finds out that this is his half-sister eve. eve is the daughter of an ionia immigrant (rhea) and emanuel. rhea and emanuel were actually married for longer than emanuel's relationship with murigen, which is awful. whatever! doesn't matter. eve is here now.

she goes to the piltover private school and helps her mother out with her jewelry repair business. she is also close friends with caitlyn kiramman, the two raised together. cassandra, caitlyn's mother, is the one who introduced rhea to emanuel.

eve is pretty quiet and keeps to herself, spends a lot of time studying and in her own world. she'd like to be friends with others, but... she's more content singing to herself and acting out book scenes. she's theatrically and musically talented, but focuses on school instead.

she and coneri are extremely close all things considered. coneri keeps eve safe during her visits to zaun, and the two of them find a connection because neither of them have many others; neither of them have friends in zaun. they have a four year age gap with coneri as the older one of the two :)
