Casual reminder that unless you're getting paid for it, you aren't obligated to create content for anyone here. And absolutely. Do. Not. Feel guilty for making things for yourself. Be self indulgent! Draw the things that bring you joy! Try not to get too caught up in pleasing others or worrying about what people might think or providing for your followers. Take care of yourself. You're an amazing artist and you deserve all the self indulgence. As a treat. And also if you gotta step back and take a break some times don't feel guilty about that either!!! >:(

this. this right here. a lot of people can get SUPER excited about an artist’s work and sometimes ppl push the artists really hard to make content and they forget why they started doing it in the first place it can turn into a really unhealthy cycle with the artists getting burnt out and not enjoying their own work anymore even if the followers don’t mean to cause harm it can be really exhausting for the artist to ppl who ask artists for drawings or ask if they’re going to update a comic- pls be respectful of the artist art takes time and effort and lots of it so pls be respectful and don’t push too hard!!! <3
