Damian didn't know how to feel. He was happy the Richard was alive but..... he still felt as though he was dead because this Richard was not the Richard that he had known, not the Richard that cared for him, not the Richard that taught him to be a good Robin, and most of all this was not his Batman, not his Baba. So Damian didn't know how to feel he was grateful but he was also sad? Mad? He knew that this was an amazing thing because his Richard, his Batman, his Baba was still alive and he might be able to recover to be even a bit like the person he once was and not this lifeless doll but he wasn't the same and if Fenton was to be believed then he might never be the same. He was still caring, he still ate overly sugary cereal and drank overly sweet soda but, he didn't remember him he didn't remember any of them, the light in his eyes was gone, his once bright blue eyes now a sad golden. So Damian was, something, he was feeling some emotion that he couldn't place, he didn't understand what it was that he was feeling was but he was feeling something. And he let himself feel that something when he looked at Richard, after all, wasn't Richard the one that taught him that it was ok to feel?
Okay, so you know how everyone talks about how Danny and Jason would recognize each other as members of the undead in a way?
Well, what about Talons? The Talons are basically undead assassins, so Danny would also recognize them. And maybe if you want to go with the idea that Danny is the Ghost King, the Talons might even feel more loyalty to Danny than the Court of Owls.
Or maybe it would leave them conflicted and confused. Maybe, with that confusion, it would give them a chance to fight back against the brainwashing of the Court of Owls and make their own decisions.
