That's a me! I was doing the live recap!
@valenxizaw245 was doing a live recap of the newest episode last night/this morning, and reminded everyone on the discord of something important: there’s a huge disparity of info between each of the sticks, as far as “what is the ongoing situation” is concerned.
Green is the only one who knows Mango’s plan. He briefed Yellow and Blue on it, yes, but Green was the one who witnessed Purple’s original briefing. (This is especially noticeable after Mango obtains creative mode: all four caged sticks behold the lightshow but Green is the only one to slump in defeat.)
Yellow and Blue may only have Green’s briefing highlights to go off of, but they also have the fact that Mango attempted either to keep them distracted and out of the way, or to win them over. Before Green arrived, they had no idea Purple and Mango were connected.
(There’s also something to be said about the scene Green walked in on to deliver said briefing; a scene that Blue had already noticed drew parallel to their first meeting with Purple. Green might’ve been too intent at the time to notice those same similarities though.)
(It is currently unknown how much of Green’s and Blue’s first meeting with Purple has been shared with the other sticks. For all we know, they might only be aware that Purple endangered them in the End.)
Orange and Red didn’t even know Mango existed until this episode. As far as they knew, trapping everyone in a parkour loop and stealing Alan’s minecraft had been Purple’s idea and Purple’s work alone. They don’t know about Green being imprisoned, or about Yellow and Blue getting played for suckers.
(Heck, Green never actually told any of them about being imprisoned.)
(Come to think of it, all the other sticks escaped the parkour loop by exploiting different mechanics, but Green escaped because he noticed Purple acting sus and did what it took to be nosy about it.)
It’s possible that Orange still doesn’t know Purple and Mango are connected. Red witnessed Purple giving Alan’s minecraft to Mango (he’s the only caged stick who moves to follow the two when the exchange occurs, which might be meant to indicate his realization that Mango wasn’t acting alone; then again this could just be because he’s physically closest and the zoom-in would’ve hidden any actions by the other sticks), but as far as we’re aware, Orange just flew through the portal, saw some tall stranger using creative mode to manifest a black hole in the nether ceiling, decided that was Not A Good Guy Move, and attacked.
Mango might not be aware that Red was possessed by Herobrine in the footage he has of Red using creative mode, but if he is, he deliberately kept that information from Purple.
Green didn’t specify, in his briefing to Yellow and Blue, that Purple is working for Mango rather than with Mango, which is a significant step down from Purple’s positions in their first meeting and in AvLOL.
Green was physically closer to Purple than any of his friends at the time of Mango’s betrayal. It’s possible he had a better view.
Now that everyone’s been separated again, Red and Orange, the two sticks with the least amount of info overall, don’t even have each other to cross references with.
