The art depicts a scene at sunrise.
It shows a destroyed and burned down house, crumbling walls, a door askew and broken from its hinges and debris on the floor. Sparks from the fire are still flying around.
Among the rubble, there are torn and burned sheets of music, a broken lute (in the lower right corner) and a discarded big hat with broken feathers (in the middle on the left side).

Akaashi is walking away from the destruction, throwing one last, uncertain glance over his shoulder as he crosses what is left of the doorway.
He is wearing knee-high leather boots, loose fitting grey pants, a lighter grey vest with gold applications and a loose fitting off-white shirt with wide, bishop sleeves.
It is all tied together by a slim leather belt in two loops.
