I dont like how I have to justify myself whenever I say "yeah dream is my favorite," for the sake of not being labeled immediately as cringy or a stan. Like why cant I just say my favorite is dream without having to explain myself? (I'm talking about lore dream rn btw)
Not that I dont like talking about what makes him so interesting to me, but I dont like it when its accusatory like "Oh but he is a villain!" Or "He killed tommy and did so many bad things!" I KNOW HE DID BUT THAT DOESNT MAKE HIM LESS INTERESTING TO ME?!?!
I'm not excusing the things he did. Yes it was messed up and everything, but just because hes my favorite doesnt mean I'm an apologist or something. (Now I'm talking about dream as in content creator)
Yes he has said stupid stuff in the past but he has done something called "growth" and "maturing" to understand that what he did was wrong.
People just love shitting on others based on toxicity in fandom or if the thing they enjoy is something they can tease about. And even if I am a dream stan or apologist, that doesn't give you the right to make fun of me. So what if I'm a little cringy, at least I dont make fun of people for enjoying something that doesnt hurt anyone.
