A brilliant dark haired intellectual who’s the most advanced in his field of study is universally mocked for how strange his work is except by his partner who completely supports and believes in him.
Seeking to prove himself, he makes a risky gamble and is ensnared by cosmic powers he doesn’t fully understand that transform him into someone he barely recognizes: causing his life, relationships, and mental health to suffer until he finally deals with the insecurity and self loathing that fueled his decisions in the first place and accepts the parts of himself he doesn’t like while his partner, who helped him get this far and was sacrificed for his ambitions, haunts the narrative.
