Scott enjoys his pure black coffee, not being able to sleep due to a horrible gut feeling of something wrong turns into drinking coffee after a short call from your brother at another state.

Welcome to the Celestial Meteor Au! This post will act as a brief Introduction to the Au! and also act as the Arc guide for the story!
Inspirations of this Au are from Rhapsoddity's Vigilante Sheriff Au, Hybbart's Rancher Apocalypse Au, and Allies or Enemies: This will be the death of me, a fanfic series on A03 by RedRobyn2
Expect Updates to be slow due to being in School, this is an Au merely for fun!
Basic Preview of the Au:
In a quiet and quaint night in the state of Hermittopia, tragedy strikes as a meteor crashes from the sky, obliterating a few counties in its wake! But that was one casualty, the worst was yet to come
A horrible infection was brought forth from the remnants of the Meteor, and has turned normal people into monstrous crystal growing zombies, and perhaps something more sinister within from the crystals themselves
Follow the story as Grian and the others slowly adapt and change in the brewing apocalypse, and maybe, just maybe, they'll find the cure before it's too late. Or...they succumb to the crystals infection from within.

Being too far from any city or town means that the car eventually ran out of gas, and both Scott and Grian had to travel by foot when Grian started to cough during their walk. Hopefully there would be a gas station or a small resting area nearby.

A terrible incident has befallen the world, specifically the State of Hermittopia, where of course, A meteor has hit and destroyed a couple of counties. But what comes after becomes a horrifying nightmare as people start to become violent, crystals growing out of nowhere on their bodies, as if infected. Will our frightened and worried protagonists live through, or succumb to the deadly virus that slowly spreads in the state?
This story follows mainly on Grian and Scott, but also focuses on others in the story. It is still ongoing and still needs work to do.
{Day 1.7}
Awoken by a terrible yet distant explosion similar to a crash, Lizzie wakes up and sits up on her bed only to see fire spreading at the far and distant view, with smoke that towered and almost reached beyond the sky. In the midst of her confusion, her husband, Joel, comes into the room, urgently waking her up and telling her to pack her bags. It seems like Joel is alarmed not just about his brother in law, Jimmy, but also about something else she doesn't know yet. Perhaps the blast and destruction of the meteorite was not the only danger that they would have to worry about.
{Day 1.5}
After a long and grueling drive towards safety away from the blast radius that the announcement had alerted from the phones that Scott and Grian had, both had escaped from Myceli County and the dangers of the meteorite crash. But they come across one of the separated chunks of the meteorite and Grian persuades Scott to investigate, much to Scotts worry, they decide to stop and see, when Grian starts to approach the rock even when he promised not to, much to Scotts dismay and confusion.

A supposedly normal movie night for Pearl turns into a shocking worry as the Emergency Alert plays on her television, hopefully her brother has received the alert as well and has evacuated immediately from his camping trip at Myceli County

THIS FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS A REQUEST FROM THE HERMIT METEOROLOGICAL ADMINISTRATION AND HAS ISSUED A WARNING DUE TO A METEOROLOGICAL HAZARD THAT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED
A METEORITE HAS ENTERED THE PLANETS STRATOSPHERE AND IS RAPIDLY DESCENDING DOWN
THE STATE OF HERMITTOPIA IS CONFIRMED TO BE THE ONCOMING CRASH SITE, AND SEVERAL COUNTIES WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE BLAST RADIUS
EVACUATE FROM THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
MANORE COUNTY, MYCELI COUNTY, RIFT COUNTY, CYBER COUNTY, COTTAGE COUNTY
SEEK SHELTER AND EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY, ANY COUNTIES AFFECTED BY THE BLAST RADIUS WILL BE AFFECTED AND DAMAGED"
