Who's side are you on!

Can someone start a tiktok trend wherein y’all call yer local representatives (at all levels) & GO OFF. Like, put as much effort as y’all do toward learning the various dances or whatnot but, instead you just call these government peoples & GO OFF. Make it a trend. Make it so every tiktok compilation I see on YouTube is just like 30 min of video after video of y’all calling yer reps and giving them a piece of yer mind.

I’m just thinking about all the rage tweets I see & wondering how many of those same folks rage tweeting are also calling their reps to affect actual change. I don’t have tiktok (or any other social media besides this tumblr) but, you can bet yer ass I’ve called my reps a few times to ensure they are acting in their constituents best interest (fortunately I live in a state with two of the best senators in the Congress & a solid governor who actually makes decent choices but, I still call them. They gotta earn my vote!)

And, yeah, once we’re all mostly vaccinated I hope there’s some sort of peaceful mass demonstrations being planned. We gotta pressure these fuckers into ending the filibuster and passing all these policy changes we want. Now!

Call yer representatives (at all levels) all the time! Make it a goddam tiktok trend!

Playing it safe and staying in your comfort zone leads to a dull existence. Do something daily that scares you!
