Muzan had assumed you didn't have one until one day you ran up to him with a blue spider lily.
"Papa. Papa! I made a flower. The flower you always talk about. I thought real hard and it popped out of the ground." You practically screamed at him jumping up and down. l He wouldn't be able to keep up with you if it wasn't for the flower in your hands.
He picked you up and examined the flower in your hands. He smiled, a smile that make you feel proud. There are very few times Muzan gives affection and right now is one of them.
You cherish this memory.
It's been a year since then and you've been helping your father making demons stronger.
Muzan had made a special room for you that looks like a flower field. Here you practiced your art or just hung out because it was peaceful. sometimes you wished to see an actual flower field but your father didn't want to risk it.
The demon slayers knew he had a child. Every attempt at taking you ending in failure.
"hey y/n I think you've made enough for today. You don't want to overexert yourself." Akaza came into your room, wary not to step on any flowers you made.
You turned to face him with a bouquet of blue spider lilies in your hand. "Okay I was just about to finish anyway. I wanna give these to father." You walked past him barely being able to hold up the flowers.
Akaza chuckled and took the flowers out of your hand. He took one out of the bundle and gave it to you for your 'hard work' as he said.

"My dear y/n, you've done well." He patted you head. "Tomorrow is yours, do with it what you want." He dismissed you and Akaza.
"Akaza, Do you think that I can go outside tomorrow? Father said that the day was mine." You asked excitedly as you bounced around the demon.

Walking out of the abandoned village you wondered off into the forest not caring about the turns you took.
Walking for what felt like hours you catch a glimpse of purple flowers hanging on what seemed like a hotel. (Where tanjiro went with inosuke and zenitsu to heal)
Getting closer to the flowers you feel your lungs start to hurt. It developed into your vision getting blurry.
You tried to turn away but by then you body had enough. You passed out.

"What are we going to do with it?"
"Turn it in obviously we can't have muzan's child walking freely."
You heard voices that got louder as they approached you.
"Papa help please." You wimpered. You had no idea what could have happened to you.

The first person you saw was a man with a scar covering the top half of his face. He had a soft smile of his face matched with a soft personality. You couldn't help but feel at peace whenever him and his children came by.
Days had went by with you in his care. You didn't mind staying in the small room but you did miss your father.
"Do you feel like talking today." He waited for a response that never came. "That's fine my child. Take your time." He reached his hand out to you. "I want you to meet the demon slayers."
'My child' your father never called you any terms of endearment. You liked it.
Your father warned you about the demon slayers. He told you to stay away from them. That they were dangerous.
That couldn't be farther from the truth, for the most part.

He likes the fact that you can scare demons away just by looking at him. the same way he can.
Poor genya tho, though he's not going to confront you but, he does see you and sanemi a lot.

Obanai is wary of you. Mitsuri of course admired you.
The three of you went on a mission and you took care of it mainly by yourself losing your childlike personality while fighting.
Obanai was glad that you could kill demons without reading into the reasons why they were fighting.
Mitsuri on the other hand thought that you were very cute. Your mannerisms and how efficiently you took care of everything were very admirable to her.

Giyuu being the cool calm and collected person he is wasn't affected by your childish ways. He thought of it as you hold on to your innocence for as long as you could.

When mother had you a year before she was murdered and alucard took you away. Shielding you from all the thing that could hurt you. But now here you are to young to understand what's happening and in the middle of a battle.
Alucard had told you to stay put in the Belmont library until he got back. He couldn't bare to see his little sibling get hurt.
But you didn't listen. You didn't want to be left alone.
Going into the castle you ignore the carnage and run up the stairs following the sounds of fighting and doing you best to avoid sypha and Trevor the best you could.
Trying to sneak past them was a fail as the Belmont turned around at the slightest noise you made.
"If it's not one thing it's another." He sighed causing the speaker to turn around.
"Y/n what are you doing here." Walking up and picking you up. The fighting that was heard had brief stops and you knew who it was.
The Belmont and speaker started running towards the sounds all the way to alucards room where you jumped out of Syphas arms and into the room just in time to see your father get stabbed by alucard.
You burst into tears.
You hardly knew your father but the memories that you did have were good. You knew he went mad after your mother's death but to attempt to kill alucard twice just so it can end like this.
The 2 caught up to you seeing what Dracula had become. The Belmont was quick to act seeing the vampire still moving. He sliced his head off.
The head spilled blood everywhere. You cried even harder when you say it was facing you.
"Alucard, step back.. Let me finish this." Sypha set him on fire.
"N-no you can't do that." You cried running to alucard burying your face in his legs. "He's gonna die."
He didn't respond only kneeled to your height and hugged you while turning away from the body.
"He is already gone y/n" he said calmly into your ear.
Black clouds filled the room along with sound of screams. It didn't take much to make you pass out.
Waking up the next day you are in alucards arms as he sits in his father's old throne.
Looking up at him you see him staring back at you. He rubs your back as the both of you continue to sit in comfortable silence.
"Are you okay y/n" his voice was so sweet and calming it almost made you forget about what happened.
Nodding with a smile you jump out of his lap and run out of the room to outside the castle with him not to far behind.
He stayed at the base of the castle while you froliced in the see able forest.
"Daddy's at finally rest." You screamed with a laugh shocking alucard. "I wanna carve his name in a tree. Can I?" You said loud enough so he could hear.
He chuckled at your enthusiasm.

"You don't know any of them?" Said a girl to which her friend shook her head. "Okay, I'll tell you just one, the most famous story... Hanako of the toilet."
In the third stall from the end of the girls' bathroom on the third floor of the old building ...You'll find Hanako-san. She'll grant one wish to anyone who summons her spirit... But in exchange, that person will have to give up something precious.
To summon the ghost, knock three times...

A girl followed the rumor, knocked on the bathroom stall 3 times, and muttered 'her' name.
"Hanako-san, Hanako-san. Are you there." She said nervously. The stall door was grabbed by a hand and slowly creaked open.
"Yessssss I'm heeeeere." A voice said opening the door all the way showing that it is empty. The girl continued to stare at the door as if something or someone was going to appear.
After a few moments of waiting she relaxed a bit. "Oh good, I just imagined it." She said to herself.
A hand lightly grabbed her shoulder.
"Over here." It said making the girl jump and turn around in an attempt to protect herself swinging her arms to it the thing.
"NOO!" She screamed as she turned ready to hit the creeper. Only for her hands to phase through the 'person'.
She turned away from it and ducked while the person laughed at her.
'That's a boy's voice?' She thought to herself.
"Are you okay?" a different voice said.
'Now it sounds like a girl...kinda.' She thought looking to her side to see a little boy, but not in a school uniform like the rumor said. The girl retreated to the other side of the room.
"A see-through body. Ghostly orbs. And a really old uniform... Y-you're..." She said shakily.
"We're supernaturals." The ghosts said in unison. "No. 7 of the school's seven mysteries. Hanako-san of the toilet." Hanako said sitting on the top of the toilet while the little girl hid behind his leg while hugging it.
"I'm Mamoru," The ghost child said curiously. "Nice to meet you." they both said.
"You're Hanako-san..? N-No way! Where's your bob cut and your red skirt? You're a boy, and also why is there a kid." She stuttered out looking between the two before her.
"That stuff's not in style anymore. You can call me Hanako-kun if you want."
"SUPERNATURAL PHANOMENONA FOLLOW TRENDS?!" the girl shouted causing the little ghost to cower behind Hanako-kun.
"Yes, I am a boy. But other than my gender, all the rumors you heard were true." Hanako-kun stated with open arms as 2 ghostly orbs were above each hand.
"THAT STILL DOESN'T EXPLAIN THE CHILD." She yelled pointing to the child hugging the Hanako's leg. Hanako looked down with a smile on his face as the boy hugged tighter.
"he's a different rumor that's not very popular." He said patting the boy's head. "Anyway, for the right price, I will grant the wish of whoever summons me. You have a wish don't you let's hear it." The girl looked deep in thought at what the boy said. That looked turned into a horrified face as she said.
"And you're sure... You're not just some pervy creeper ghost?" Hanako was hurt by this and grabbed the little boy's hand.
"forget it, goodbye." Hanako's voice was weary as he slowly floated back to where he came from while picking up the kid who only looked back at the girl.
"I WAS KIDDING! I THINK A BOY HANAKO-SAN IS TOTALLY AWESOME." The girl yelled out desperately beaconing him to come back. The little boy giggled and wiggled in Hanako's grip to be put down. Once he was down he began hovering around the two still giggling.
"Awesome... Okay tell me your name and wish." Hanako said, with a pen and paper smiling happily.
'he's surprisingly shallow.' she thought. 'and the kid is... being a kid guess.'
"yes sir! Nene Yashiro, from class 1-A of the high school division! I want my crush to fall in love with me immediately~." she said fantasizing about all the scenarios in her head coming true.
the little boy looked up back in forth between the two teens not understanding what was going on.
"Yashiro... got it. And your wish is romantic fulfillment, And the other party's name?" Hanako said writing down everything Yashiro said.
"Minamoto-senpai. He's a second-year! He's handsome, smart, and nice to everyone. He's just amazing. He's the prince of the whole school!" She said dreamily rambling about her crush.
'a crush?' the little boy thought, he couldn't completely understand the concept of liking someone but he was willing to learn.
"I see..." Yashiro was showed a picture of the alleged prince of the school to the two apparitions. "Got it. I'll grant your wish." Han
"So how do you grant wishes, Hanako-san? Do you have special magical items or something?" Yashiro said like a child who saw their favorite toy.
"I sure do. I have something incredible."Hanako said to which Yashiro replied with the word incredible.
"Here."Hanako reached into his pocket pulling out a torn and worn-out book. 'Methods of love, hundreds of strategies~ This is love' it read. Yashiro took the book
Yashiro deadpanned looking at Hanako, upset that what she envisioned was not reality.
"Now, Now. I think you already know this... But when you seek help from a supernatural being like me, you have to pay a suitable price. If you want powers beyond human understanding, the price is going to be that much greater. So we use this which is much safer." Hanako took the book back from Yashiro and gave it to the little boy, who gladly took it and started to try and read it.
"But... What if I want those powers anyway?" Yashiro looked worried
"Well, then... I don't have any items sorry." Hanako said with a finger on each cheek cutely.

I didn't really like the last one
You had a habit of following your father and for the most part he found it cute until it became a problem and you kept following him to the hashira meetings.
And guess where you followed him today.
A hashira meeting.
More specifically when a demon slayer was caught protecting his demon sister.
You hid behind the side of the building out of site but you could hear most of everything.
You heard so commotion and peaked around the corner to see giyuu standing a few feet away from you and the slayer on the ground with sanemi in front of him.
'Did he just hit sanemi' you were shocked. In the time you had know Sanemi he beat you in every fight but this kid took him down with his hands behind his back.
"What are you doing here Y/n." You heard giyuu whisper next to you making you realize how you far you had hovered over to get a better look of what happened.
Making a strange noise you hid back behind the corner. "Promise not to tell dad, I followed him cause I heard what happened." You wisphered back grabbing the building.
"I think its to late for that."
Your heart dropped. You looked to the hashira immediately making eye contact with your father.
He held no emotion while looking at you.

Lady kokomi decided to give you a day off cause the week had been relatively calm and you took it without question.
So you went to see... ITTO!
You and Itto were in the forest looking for Onikabuto beetles when You got distracted.
You saw a fox run past you and you decided to follow it.
"Wait up Mr. Fox" You cried out to which the fox stopped for a second to look back at the boy then continued on his way.
It was almost as if the fox was leading him somewhere.
The boy ran until he was tired and when he stopped so did the fox.
When he caught he breathe was looked up to see the fox right in front of his face. He jumped back in surprise and so did the fox.
"Wait I didn't mean to scare you Mr. Fox." The fox turned away and started to run again but not before catching a glowing bug and eating it. The fox had markings the glowed after eating the bug.
It looked so pretty. The pretties fox you'd ever seen
You started to run again but was picked up by mystery hands.
"Why'd you run off lil bud."
It was itto.
"I was following a fox." You pointed in the direction you were about to go.
Itto looked all around in confusion before putting you on his shoulders.
"C'mon lil guard I still have to find an Onikabuto to beat yours." He boasted tilting his head back making you grab his horns so you wont fall.
"Really we've been at this all day and not once have you beat me. I'll remain undefeated 76 to 0." You shot back. As Itto walked to a different spot to find "better" beetles, you looked back to the fox sitting while still glowing.
"Heyyy don't under estimate me, I'll win just you wait." Itto whined, snapping you out of your graze. "whatever you say" You mumble out slowly moving your gaze from the fox to in front of you.
The day continued as Itto kept losing and the score was now 156 to 0. For like the fifth time Itto suggested going to find more beetles.
On you way to get more beetles (for Itto to lose with) You saw the glowing bug. Forgetting all about the beetles you went to get the bug and promptly ate it.
"Whatcha munchin' on bud." A voice said over your shoulder
"NotHIng." Your voice cracked as you jumped back in surprise. I up at Itto behind you, you see the sun starting to go down. Fearing a scolding from Gorou and Itto's prying nature you say "Ihavetoyousorry" and run off before itto could say anything else.

You were always protective of lady kokomi. You would always be around her under gorou's order and she didn't mind because you gave her 'energy points'.
Today was the day the traveler came they were accompanied by Teppei. You had knew him from when you were with Gorou counting supplies. He had asked if you needed help you said no but that didn't stop his will to do anything even if the task was as small as counting.
You weren't really listening to what was being said when your name was called.
"Y/n" Kokomi said putting a hand on your head as she always did. "Do you wanna greet the traveler? They're the one who helped end the vision hunt decree." You looked up at her to see her smiling down at up then you looked over to the traveler.
"Hello, my name is Y/n and I am a member of the resistance. Thank you for your help in the vision hun decree." You had said it just how Gorou taught you bowing your head and everything.
"THIS KID IS IN THE RESISTANCE." You heard a high pitched voice and saw the floating person shaking the travelers arm. They both were reasonably shocked.
"Yes although he doesn't fight he helps keep up moral and smaller tasks that the others don't want to do." Kokomi explained "back to the matter at hand, sword fish 2 you said?... " you zoomed out again. You really didn't notice them leave until kokomi picked you up and rested you on her hip as she started walking.
"I have to do a lot of work to do this the resistance, but before that let's relax a bit." She carried you to her hide out before putting you down.
You liked the place it reminded you of the resistance training area.
You and kokomi sit outside the Hideout on the cliff looking out at the beautiful watasumi island.
"Lady kokomi, how come were fighting with the Shogun." Gorou had told you it was because the vision hunt decree. You didn't understand and kokomi didn't know how to answer
"I... Um we disagree with her reasoning is all. We are trying to make her see her decision to take visions away is hurting and not helping." You hummed and asked another question.
"Why don't you just talk to her." This one was an easier question.
"The Shogun is kinda stubborn and it's hard to s we her face to face." You looked deep about to ask another question but she started talking before you could.
"I want you to see how the traveler is doing while I take care of something, okay." you nodded and watched as she walked off.
You didn't know where to start so you went to find Gorou.
You found him on the outskirts of Watasumi island with 2 guards beside him. Before he could see you, you snuck up behind him putting a finger to your lips as the guards turn to look at you.
"BIG BROTHER" You jumped on his tail causing him to try to turn around to get you put you let go and ran around him laughing.
"M/n stop it." He tried to grabbed you but instead you stuck yourself to his back.
"Lady kokomi wants me to find the traveler." You said wrapping your arms around his neck giggling.
Hearing the guards try to stiffel their laughs caused Gorou to glare at them, shutting them up immediately.
"I thought you would know where they are." You said as Gorou unwrapped your arms from his neck and set you down.
"We're done Gorou. Hey look it's the little guard dog."
Side note: for the people waiting for a change of pace update I'm sorry. Im going to rewrite it cause I don't like it.

Giyuu was at a lost.
There you were surrounded by 2 bodies he assumed were your parents.
"Please don't hurt me." You wimpered crying. You kept your knees close to your chest with your hands inside your yukata.
He already spared one demon but to spare another who seemingly ate people with be unforgivable.
"Did you kill them" you shook your breath and opened your mouth but couldn't say anything cause you started crying.
"I scary man... They protected me... But that didn't-" he couldn't hear the last part so he tried to move closer.
He had never seen a child move so fast as you backed up into a wall cracking it in the process.
At this reaction he slowly kneeled down keeping eye contact but keeping his sword.
"I won't do anything if you don't." He said sitting with his legs crossed. You nodded.
"My name is giyuu tomioka, I am the water hashira of the demon slayer corp. I came here apon hearing the whereabouts of Muzan Kibustuji when I came across you." He spoke calmly in a way to calm you, which worked. "Who are you."
Breathing slowly you relaxed a bit. "I'm Y/n L/n I'm 8 and I don't want to die." You were very soft spoken and your voice was dry. You were in very bad shape.
Judging from your parents bodies you had been here a few days like this.
He wanted to help you and he was at least gonna try.
Until he was reminded what it meant to be a demon slayer by Iguro.
The said snake hashira followed giyuu on his next mission to make sure he was killing demons.
"Killing demons is what we do. Even if it is a child. It is still a demon." He killed you before you even realized it.
"Mama, papa." You struggled out as you reached for them with your disinigrating body.
Giyuu was to stunned to speak.
Alt ending
He wanted to help you and he was at least gonna try.
Little by little he scooted forward and slowly taking his hand off his blade.
Iguro watched from afar waiting for giyuu's next move.
When he was close enough to you he gently put his hand on your head.
"It'll be alright, I'll get you somewhere safe." At his words you jumped into his arms crying and mumbling incoherent things.
After a while he was able to pick you up bringing you out of the house and walking out of the village where he saw iguro.
You had now fallen asleep.
"You forget yourself tomioka. A demon is a demon and you'll suffer the consequences." He said as giyuu walked by without stopping.

"Get well soon." Paimon in said as her and the traveler left to do commissions leaving gorou to look after M/n.
For the past week M/n has been bedridden after eating a Beatle in the forest. How he got the Beatle we'll never know.
Gorou re dampened the cloth on M/n's head. M/n whined pushing his ears back as gorou pressed the now cold towel on his head.
"You shouldnt eat random bugs. Why'd you do that anyway." Gorou might've sounded mad but he wasn't and M/n couldn't tell from the way that he brought the covers close to his face and avoided eye contact.
"I wanted to see what it tastes like." The little boy responded with his ears pressed to his head still not making eye contact. "And I saw a fox eating one"
'A fox' gorou thought as he looked at his little brother in confusion "what does that have to do with?"
M/N didn't respond and instead pretended like he was asleep to which he received a wet towel to the face.
"Don't ignore people it's rude." The general huffed out to still be met with silence. Getting up from her spot on the bed he went to leave the room. "If your asleep I guess I'll get back to work." He raised his voice a little to make sure you heard as he slowing walked through the fabric of the tent.
"Wait I wanna help." M/n jumped up from bed and ran to his brother wrapping his arms around his legs to try to hold him in place.
Gorou laughed and took the blanket off the bed m/n was on and wrapped it around him while picking him up. "You can come with me as long as you don't do much."
The boy had a big smile on his face for the rest of the day and woke up fully recovered.

Alucard first noticed you after the battle against his father. You were always watching him in or out of the castle. He didn't mind in fact you kept him at least a little more sane without his friends there.
You don't know why you started watching him but over time the gap started to close.
He would call out to you asking small questions like "what do you want to eat today" or "your closer than before. What's changed?" Although you had trouble talking that didn't stop him from finding a way to communicate with you.
Today was no different.
"Fish for dinner agin y/n" he looked back at you nodded as he went back to fishing. He caught two fish before heading back to the castle with you in tow.
Cooking them and placing one out side of the dinning area. Watching you pull the plate away from the door so you can eat.
For some reason you never liked him seeing you eat but he didn't want to question it.
"You can eat in hear ya know." He said but you just grunted in response and went back to eating.
You liked the way things were they were peaceful. That was until two strange people showed up.
You never liked them but they did make you get closer to alucard. You were now a few steps behind him, close enough to grab his hand but you Didn't.
"And what's your name" the girl said but you didn't answer and instead ran to a tree as the vampire and the strange people playfully faught.
Days past and the people wouldn't leave but one day you over heard them talking about needing alucard for something.
You didn't like the sound of it so you went to confront him.
"What's wrong Y/n your usually never this close." You were pulling his arm to show him and to indulge you thinkjng it was something that you made he let you drag him along to a not very good drawing of the twins with the word trouble drawn in the gravel outside the castle.
Signing he kneeled down so you can look him in the eyes.
"Y/n just because you don't like someone it doesn't mean you can be rude."
All you could do was grunt and run away to the forest. You weren't really mad but you didn't know how to tell him you were serious so you ran.
You planned in going back at night so you waited.
When night came you started on your wat back and when the castle was in sight you were about to run for it when you were stopped.
You didn't get to see you stopped you when the world went dark.
Alucard found you after the incident in the woods with your head off your shoulders.
Yet another thing to send him more into the deep end.

The soldiers had given you that name because for one you were a shiba hybrid being gorou's younger sibling and second you were hardly ever seen without kokomi.
Like today Kokomi had sen you off to deliver a letter to the Tenryou commission and by the archons you were going to deliver it no matter what was gonna get in the way.
First obstacle: Your brother
"here take this." Gorou made 4 rice balls for you and giving you rules since you where leaving for the day. You gladly took the rice balls and tried to tun off before he could give you a lecture but he grabbed you by the back of your shirt.
"Not so fast. Don't get sidetracked and don't get all of them in one go you'll get a tummy ache." he started " Don't wonder off so much after you deliver the letter. I'm giving 100 mora to buy a treat or you can keep it if you want and finally be back by nightfall." He finished the lecture by ruffling your hair and pushing out of his tent.
And now your journey begins.
you had gotten a boat to narukami island, waving off to the sailor and thanking him as you continued your way to the Tenryou commissions headquarters.
Second obstacle: distractions
Walking into Inuzuma the first thing you see is Yoimiya outside her fathers shop entertaining kids. You started to walk over but stopped before the first steps shaking your head. 'no i can't stop now i have to deliver the letter.' you thought as you started to walk again.
"Hey, Y/n I haven't seen you in a while. The resistance keeping you busy huh?." Yoimiya said walking up to you with kids your age following.
"Hello, yep very busy. I was told to not get distracted so im sorry but i have to go." You wanted to stay a bit longer but you were told this was very important and to deliver the letter as fast as you could.
"Aw thats a shame well at least take these, we can light them the next time you come by." She gave you sparklers and a firework. You gladly took them and gave her a rice ball. You waved her off as you started on your way again.
"Hey guard dog!" You heard turning your head to see Itto. You tried walking faster but he got to you quickly walking in front of you to pick you up by your arms.
"Hey, where are you off to little bud." He said holding you to his side as he started walking in the same direction that you were going.
"To the Tenryou commission I-"
"woah woah hold up why are you going there."
"To deliver something for lady kokomi." You squiggled in his arms to be put down which he did. "I would love to stay but I have to go for now." You saluted him off as he said you could visit the gang whenever you were free.
You would've wanted to stay longer. You liked itto and his gang's company but they were to much of a distraction from your job.
You had to stay on track.
Obstacles overtaken
Finally making it to the tenryo commission you successfully delivered the letter when you ran into Thoma. Literally.
"Oh sorry about that." He pulled you up and brushed you off. "Couldn't see ya there."
"Hello Mr. Thoma. It's alright I'm fine."
"Oh it's you, Y/n. It's funny running into you here all by yourself." He said rubbing your ears.
"Yep I was sent by lady Kokomi to deliver a letter. I'm on my way back."
"Oh well before you go would you like come with me to the tea house I have something for you." You thought for a little while before agreeing.
Making it to the tea house Thoma lifted you to one of the stols in front of the bar and told you to wait there while he got your gift.
While waiting you decided to take out the 3 remaining rice balls giving one to Taroumaru, you ate one and planned to give the last one to Thoma.
Thoma came out with his hands behind his back. Coming up to you with a big smile on his face.
"Tada!" Thoma pulled out a back pack that matched your outfit. "Everytime I see you, you have a tattered bag so I thought you could use a new one."
You grabbed it hugging it to your chest. "Thank you Mr. Thoma. Your sewing looks perfecional." You look at him with stars in your eyes.
"Don't mention it it's the least I could do for someone who so young yet works so hard." You hopped off the chair giving him a hug and a rice ball.
You see the sun through one of the windows starting to go down. You having off to him as you run to the shores to find a boat.
Luckily you found one and got back to go round and Kokomi in time.
"Did you deliver the letter." Asked Kokomi kneeling down to your height putting a hand on your head. You nodded.

After the demon siblings were dealt with and Tengen was still at the butterfly estate and his child and wife were worried about him.
So makio, suma, and hinatsuru grabbed y/n and went to the butterfly estate.
Apon getting there y/n wiggles their way out of Suma's arms and bolted to the room where their father was resting. Already knowing the way cause of previous visits.
Slamming open the door y/n was greeted by their father sitting up and eating. Running to up on the bed with tengen ignoring his questions of how they got there and where their mothers were and instead pressing head into his side while hugging him.
They were crying.
Tengen took his Index finger and thumb under y/n's chin raising their head to look at him.
"What's wrong." He said softly trying to wipe all your tears but they were coming to quickly.
"You *hic* and mamas were hurt. You and the boy looked dead." Y/n wailed gripping his hand as he tried to shush them.
"Do I'd look dead? No demon could defeat me so easily. You have nothing to fear and those boys are strong they won't let a demon get the best of them either." He boasted pushing y/n into his side as they let out their tears.
Soon after the three wives get there seeing y/n now sleeping laying their head on their fathers lap and his meal now on the nightstand next to him.
He looks over at them with a genuine smile.
And they just take them to their cave and carefully set scared reader down before snuggling up with them. And reader is scared for their life them they open their mouths, even if it just to talk, howl or clean their new baby.
And the league near watches intruiged to see what their leader pair has brought home. A scared little black lamp that is now adopted.

All the child fics I see have the child as a little ray of sunshine that’s loved to pieces by everyone, but I think it would be a little funny if they found a kid that was rather awkward instead. If you have any suggestions on other awkward kid reader like scenarios or other characters go ahead and request.

Shanks
“Oh! Hey, there’s some kids here.” Shanks crouches down and speaks to you, but you quickly shake your head. “Listen, I know you aren’t the best at socializing but just try it out. Just for a bit?” He’s a bit worried, you don’t get to be with other kids much being on the Red Force. Looking into his eyes you start to feel a bit guilty, eventually nodding your head. Shanks smiles brightly “Great! C’mon, I’ll make sure you’re safe, okay?” He picks you up and goes over to the kids playing. Once you’re both close enough he sets you down, but you just stand there. He gives you a little push and you stiffly walk to the kids. They spot you and you freeze.
“Huh? Who are you?” They walk over to you and you go as still as possible. “Hello?” One of the kids waves a hand in front of your face but you just stand there like a statue. Shanks looks on, worried that you’ll get bullied. He shakes his head.
‘No, I should have faith in them as their father.’ He thinks to himself as the kids gather around the new strange child. They just kind of stare at you. One of the kids pokes you and you flinch.
“They move! How do you get all frozen like that, are you made of stone?” Your eyes slowly trail to your dad, nervous. He just gives you a thumbs up. Shanks gets approached by someone.
“Chief? Oh it’s you!” Shoot, he’s starting to get recognized, this damn hair. He has to entertain them a bit before they finally go away. Shanks quickly looks back to you, worried. The kids have.. started stacking things on you.
“Woahh…”The kids marvel at you. You have multiple blocks on your head, your stillness keeping them from falling. That’s… one way to socialize I guess. Your record is 10 blocks.
Mihawk
Mihawk holds you in his arms, he had taken you in a few months ago even before Cross Guild. To be honest, he was hesitant to bring you with him, but it was already known he had a child by this point. It’s safer to keep you where he can be with you, it’s one of the reasons he joined. Having a stable place to stay is best for you. Another worry he had is that the clown and Crocodile would be a bad influence on you, that you would turn into some sort of delinquent. Children can be unpredictable, and easily manipulated. However, that ended up not being the case. In fact, they seemed to be a good influence. Not because they were passing on good features, no, it was simply because you disliked them enough that you marked them as “bad examples”, he couldn’t be more relieved. It’s unfortunate you don’t make friends but this is better than becoming anything like Buggy or Crocodile. They had even attempted to appeal to you, trying to befriend you to have some sort of connection to Mihawk. Buggy so that Mihawk would be softer on him, Crocodile so that Mihawk would have incentive to be loyal. It didn’t work out. Crocodile realized very fast you were terrified of him, he isn’t the best with children either; and there’s too much risk trying to get close to you when your father hates when you’re scared. Buggy however…
“Hey, kid, here.” Buggy offers you candy, you stare at it then slowly back away, clearly uncomfortable. “Ah, uhhh.. What about this?” He starts to juggle, but you also look nervous, looking away. ‘This damn brat, aren’t kids supposed to like clowns?’ He curses in his head, but keeps a smile on his face. Finally, in one last effort, he pulls off his head and starts to do tricks with his limbs. “See? Cool isn’t i-” When he looks at the spot you were in you’re gone, like a mouse that skittered away. “God dammit, fucking kid.” Right as he says that he feels an intimidating presence behind him, hawk eyes digging into his back. He might be fucked.
Smoker
“Sea prism works on devil fruit users like Captain Smoker and this person. That’s why you don’t have to be scared, they can’t do anything to you.” Tashigi explains to you, holding the sea prism cuffs. She’s babysitting you for a bit while Smoker is taking care of business since you can’t exactly be left alone at your age. You had gotten startled by a prisoner being led to jail earlier, so she was explaining how they’re harmless with the cuffs on; even showing them to you. “You want to hold them?” You slowly nod and hold them in your little hands, they’re kind of heavy. While you’re looking at them Tashigi looks to the door, Smoker is back. “Ah Captain Smoker you’re ba-”

…Oops. You put them on by accident. Immediately you start to panic, trying to get them off your wrist. “Ah, wait, I can just take them off for you. Stand still!” You’re panicking too much though, waving your arm around while Smoker sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. Before she can grab you though, you end up flinging the cuff off of your wrist. It was too big to fit you anyway, the key wasn’t needed. Unfortunately, you end up flinging them directly at your dad, hitting him on the head. He flinches and falls back, the sea prism making him weak. “Captain Smoker!” He falls to the ground and you freak out like a startled cat, running around the office while knocking things over. Tashigi, flustered, doesn’t know what to do first. The cuffs slide off of his body and he moves again, grabbing you by the back of your shirt like a kitten. “I’m so sorry, sir I didn’t think-” He raises a hand to stop her.
Your father looks at you, your face guilty, and sighs. “It’s fine.” The office is a mess now, it’s actually a bit impressive. At least he doesn’t have to worry about people catching you. “No more cuffs.” He’ll worry about the office later, you’re more important.

Bet. My first time writing a trans character so I hope it turned out okay. I'm still not used to headcanons so this honestly came out more as a fic, I'm really sorry about that. If you want a redo I don't mind, sorry. I got kinda carried away with a storyline and it turned out like this.

This is how your life is, you’ve accepted it. You’re the daughter of someone powerful, strong, rich, you should be happy; but you aren’t. These dresses aren’t making you happy, the people fawning over you aren’t either, even the small amount of attention you get from your father doesn’t truly make you happy. It’s only when something happens, something that was supposed to be negative, that you get a glimpse of what can be your happiness. How could you let it pass you by at that point? Call yourself your father’s daughter, you don’t let opportunities like this just leave. Of course, maybe daughter isn’t something to describe you anymore.
“Take me with you.” Is what you say to Luffy when he’s leaving.
“Hm?” He looks at you, recognizing who you are, and scowls slightly.
“Take me with you, I want to go with you.” You repeat and it only confuses him more, Luffy doesn’t like being confused either.
He thinks you’re trying to pick a fight at first, but when he realizes you aren’t he calms down a bit.
“I just beat up your dad, why do you wanna come with me?” He asks you.
“Because I want to. So let me on.”
“Wha- Don’t give me orders!”
You two end up getting into a small argument, call it childish but you aren’t used to being argued with by anyone other than your father.
Of course, it ends up working out, Luffy lets you on.
Robin even uses you as an excuse to get on as well, your partner in crime.
Luffy’s a little upset he kind of didn’t get as much of a choice as he’d like, but he got over it once Robin worked her charms. (Using her hands to help them make stupid jokes)
As for you, it took a while for you to warm up to them even though you’re the one who got on.
Something just still didn’t feel right.
You felt better than before, of course, but not as good as you’d like.
It’s only when Nami helps you pick out clothes that you realize that you’ve never truly chosen what you’ve wanted.
You were given options of course, but those options were picked from what your father wanted.

Sometimes Sanji still laments, but it’s more just because he was happy to have another woman to fawn over.
He gets over it, you’re happier this way.
You even get the privilege of not having the privilege of Sanji’s over-the-top affection.
Everything is so much better, so much brighter that you almost forget what your life was like before you were truly yourself.
That’s until you meet your father again, a reminder of who you were.
You know it's not his fault, he never bossed you around or told you you couldn’t be your true self.
He just wanted you to be someone that he could have confidently as his child, someone unbreakable; and that's what you were.
An unbreakable broken person.
That’s how you could describe him too, in the state he’s in.
Chained up and defeated, it makes your heart ache.
Even if he wasn’t the best father he was still yours.
He almost doesn’t recognize you at first, glaring at you until it clicks who you are.

Despite not wanting to admit it he did have a soft spot for you.
You were his daughter, the small light he had in the darkness, whether the choice to have you was his or not.
“..It’s (Y/N).” You say quietly and he perks up, looking at you closer.

“I know.” There’s a silence.

Your eyes go wide, but they calm as you smile.

“Good. Make sure you stay on the other side of these bars, too, (Y/N).” Your father says and your heart clenches.
You’re happy, but sad at the same time.
Here you are, your true self with friends that care about you, meeting your Father again.
This should be happy for you, there shouldn’t be anything bad about this.
Despite that, you feel like crying; and look down.
Because you’ve gained so much, but you’ve lost being your Father’s daughter.
He still cared for you, and you him.
He helped you with your hair, gave you the luxury he grained, treated you with the respect you deserved, he even changed your diapers sometimes when you were little.
Even though he didn’t need to.
Crocodile loved you as much as he could in and in the way he knew how.
So the thought that you’ve lost that love, it hurts.
You don’t want to go back to being his daughter, you don’t want to go back to being a daughter, but you don’t want to lose being his child.
“Hey, don’t give me that look.” You hear him say, and you look back up.
“I know you and how that face you make when you're about to cry. Even if you’re different know you’re still my..” He trails off and you hesitate.
“Son.” Your heart drops, fear overtaking you at the thought of him rejecting you.
“My son.” He says and your vision blurs.
“Jeez, you really don’t listen don’t you? That a Strawhat trait, or did you get it from me?” He says with a sigh as tears roll down your cheeks.
“C’mon, stand up straight. You’re my kid, act it.” Something he would always say to you when you felt insecure.
It never did much other than help you put your mask back on.
But now those words empower you.
More than when they were said by the savior of Alabasta, the fearsome Crocodile.
You nod and wipe your eyes, you can’t cry now.
“That’s right, one of us has to be free." He looks down at himself, weak from mistreatment and seastone.
"Maybe it’s better you than me.” His chains clink as he moves.
“I am free, I feel so free. All the time.” You say, laughing a bit.
It shocks Crocodile, he hasn’t heard you laugh like this in so long.
He'd thought you'd lost it from age, just as he did.
You haven't laughed this freely with him since he could hold you up with one hand.
The sound of his son sounds so much happier than his daughter.
He wishes he knew sooner, maybe he could’ve even given you different life skills.
Too late for that.
“Are you gonna stand here all day looking at your old man? I doubt you’ve come to free me.” You shake your head.
You don’t even have his key.
Your ears perk up at crashing noises, it’s time for you to go.
You look back at your father, eyes clear and bright.
“I’ll be going now, Dad.” You say with a smile and he bites the inside of his cheek to hold any emotion in.
“Go get em, son.” Crocodile says with a chuckle.
You go off and he sits in his cell.
He wonders if this is how you felt, trapped with him and in a body you didn’t feel was your own.
Maybe this is his retribution, his punishment for his wrongdoings.
If there’s a God out there.. he hopes that they keep that punishment to him.
It wouldn’t be fair to drag someone he just met into his problems.
You deserve your new life.
He’s just happy he was able to see a glimpse of it.
