lets get straight to the point
we have: alphabet (required), numbers from 0 to infinity (ig negative ones are possible, but you will just fill your head with confusion)
its hard to explain, but i'll try. we want to encrypt, F.E. the word «apple». what do we need besides the alphabet? well, absolutely any set of numbers (this is our key. usually the numbers in the "key" are not repeated). i'll take 3259. we look at the first letter in the word, in our case it is «a». we look at the first number in the set, in our case it is 3 -> we need to count from the next letter after a (i.e. b) three times to the right. we get «d». we do the same with all the letters (if the set of numbers is coming to an end, we simply continue from the first number). so, the «apple» turns into DRVVH. thats all
