Curate, connect, and discover
Over the past few weeks you and Obi- Wan Kenobi grew close. The two of you were assigned a mission three weeks ago together and you both worked seamlessly, Obi- Wan seemed to really respect your judgement and you. However, rumors spread throughout the Jedi council about attachments between you both, and the day you heard them, you were confronted. You made your way toward the Jedi Temple to meet with Master Yoda and Master Windu upon request, you strode down hallways until you were let into the Temple. "You requested my presence, Master?" You announced your presence, clasping your hands patiently in front of you as you glanced at both Yoda and Windu. " Yes. Are you aware of what everyone in the Jedi Order is saying about you?" Windu asks, leaning forward in his chair. "No?" You reply, perplexed. " Attachment, you have?" Yoda chimes in, regarding you with a raised eyebrow. It takes you a moment to realize that they must mean you and Obi-Wan. "What? No. Master Kenobi and I simply worked on a mission and respect one another." You said trying to maintain a respectful tone. Truth is, you actually did feel something warm and fuzzy for him, but were you about to admit this to two Jedi Masters who strictly follow the code? Of course not! Windu nods. "Very well then. You do realize that if you do grow somewhat attached to Obi-Wan, you will be kicked from the order? Jedi are not supposed to attach." Windu warns you, looking into your eyes grimly. "Yes, I know, Master Windu." You say, a soft sigh evident in your voice. Windu nods once more, leaning back in his chair. " Powerful Jedi, you are." Yoda says, gazing at you with fondness, despite what he and Windu just accused you of. You nod, remembering what you are and how you got here. You sigh this time, softly, and look up at both of the Jedi Masters. Windu nods, signaling you can leave, you bow slightly and sweep out of the room. You were incredibly glad that Obi-Wan was on a mission with his Padawan, Anakin. You had hoped, with all that you could, that he had not heard of the rumors and wanted to not be friends with you anymore, you didn't know if you could handle that. You graced the hallways, thinking, about your feelings for Obi-Wan that you just couldn't hide and basically everyone in the entire Jedi order knew or were beginning to suspect these feelings of yours to be true, not matter if you try to hide it anymore. Sighing deeply, you place your hands on your head and look at the floor, until you hear footsteps and voices. "I'm sure she doesn't know, Master." "How can you be so sure, my young apprentice?" It sounded like exactly what you had been dreading: Anakin and Obi-Wan. You take your head out of your hands, placing them, clasped, behind your back and gazing thoughtfully out the window. Maybe they would get the hint you were busy thinking? "Ah, my former apprentice, Y\N." Obi-Wan greets you. You squeezed your eyes shut in utter frustration before turning to the Master Jedi Knight and you smile warmly. " Master Kenobi." You greet him back with the level of respect you would normally show him. " I see you're in thought?" He asks you, crossing his arms. "I was, yes." You reply, bringing your hands to your chest and holding them in a business-like manner. Obi-Wan laughs softly and looks at you. "Well, in that case, I must apologize." You smile reassuringly. "Anyway, Master, may I be excused?" Anakin says, rolling his eyes slightly. Obi-Wan shushes him and waves his hand before looking back at you. "You really do have a fascination with the ones that don't seem to listen to you." You joke. "Oh, you know... You weren't that bad." Obi-Wan replies, smirking at you. " Well, I must disagree." You laugh. "You really weren't." He insists. You smile and remember the rumors again, had he heard them? You decided to take a chance. "Hey, have you heard of the rumors going around?" You asked, your face displaying obvious curiosity. He thinks for a minute and his face becomes slightly more serious. "I have." He answers simply. "Do you believe them?" You ask, anxiously waiting.
