DDnMD - Blog Posts

Hi, I just wanted to share a drawing I made of you, (I do not have the same art level as you do, of course) tell you you are great, asking if I could join your next DDnMD campaign and ask more details about what is the moss : as the author of the journals, I thought you could inform us about this mysterious cryptid infecting more and more Tumblr users. Is it a sign that we should all touch grass ? Or something even darker ?

Hi, I Just Wanted To Share A Drawing I Made Of You, (I Do Not Have The Same Art Level As You Do, Of Course)

Wow. Okay.

First of all, I would like to say that your art is amazing. The lighting, line work, outlines, and especially how the two sides are done in tertiary colors that complement each other so well!

Second, the DDnMD campaign will be open to anyone who would like to join, and the discord server for it will be open on the 7th or 8th of May, depending on how long planning takes me. The date from there will be determined once all participants have their character sheets planned out (and I will be providing templates). So yes, you can join when the time comes!

Now, onto the issue of the moss. It is a recent phenomenon, one that I am not particularly sure I fully understand myself. It is spread by blog interaction, but only if the carrier of the moss wills it to be passed on. It seems to have no harmful effect that can be observed at this point in time. Since moss is very much alive, it can't possibly be a virus. So, my first thought was perhaps a parasite. Then @boiling-with-rage no longer was affected after passing it on several (?) times.

Parasites, as far as can be proven, are not capable of complex thought. They can survive and thrive in a host, but they don't know satisfaction. So why would this be the case? My theory is that, considering the moss was first passed on by an anonymous person, it was a result of an experiment in giving plants complex thought. Otherwise it wouldn't A) listen to the host on who to infect, or B) be satisfied after being passed on enough.

As for it being a sign, only time will tell. But I will continue looking into it. Thank you so much for this ask. I truly enjoy loaded questions!
