Trouble always had a way of finding Harry, and eighth year was obviously going to be no exception.

After the war, a very different Draco returns to Hogwarts. Harry is determined to be his friend.

The situation plummets from disarray to pandemonium just as Draco Malfoy arrives to drop Scorpius off for a visit, because of course it does.

I have a more in depth review, but here I’ll just say that this is one of those fics that leaves you feeling like you’re swimming in clouds. Sickeningly sweet moments, scorching hot smut and adorable kids, it has it all.

✨ Nights With You / 58k / Draco is mortified when moments prior to departing for the most anticipated destination wedding of the year, he is cruelly dumped. But when he learns that Harry Potter has, at long last, split with his horrible boyfriend, Draco is certain his luck has changed. Never a man to squander an opportunity for revenge (and what would probably be a spectacular shag), Draco vows to make Potter his for the weekend.

Now all Draco has to do is convince him.

Hilarious, hot and adorable. Plus, a very strong friendship between the whole cast, which is not that common in post war fics. Loved it.

✨ Rookie Moves / 75k / Aurors Potter and Malfoy crack the case.

I laughed so hard while reading this, is not even funny. Their banter is top-tier.

✨ Soup-pocalypse and The Great Curry Cataclysm / 104k / Eleven years after the war, Draco Malfoy leads a quiet, boring, and perfectly respectable life, thanks very much. Or, at least he does, until a sudden and very unexpected veela awakening causes him to throw soup all over Harry Potter in the middle of the Ministry cafeteria.

Love a messy and barely-keeping-it-together Draco.

✨ Life Lessons / 68k / On the cusp of a promotion, Harry needs a little help with his image. Enter Draco Malfoy — who doesn't really do that, Potter — to whip him into shape… and make him feel things he hasn't for a very long time.

Featuring: odd jobs, surprising chemistry, lots of accidental kissing, the Prophet living up to type, owls exhausted by the carrying of dirty letters, a secret no one can talk about, a merry band of Slytherins (none of whom really approve), and an enchanted mirror (who really, really does).

✨ The Day Before the Wedding / 39k / Harry's getting married to Ginny tomorrow. The problem is that he can't seem to get beyond today.

✨ You open always / (petal by petal ) / 65k / Harry’s not the kind of person who pays for sex. He really isn’t. Until he is.

This fic is mind-blowing HOT. Like goddamn. Please read it!

✨ Seeker’s High / 40k / Harry Potter doesn’t expect to take up running years after the war ends; it just sort of happens.

He also doesn’t expect that — as he fights tooth and nail to climb out of a post-war depression he didn’t realize he’d fallen into — he’ll end up running right into the arms of Draco Malfoy.

A half angsty drama, half romcom of Harry working on himself, learning how to accept help from his friends, and falling in love with his childhood nemesis.

I love a fic that handles mental health topics, specially Harry’s depression post war. Using running as a coping mechanism was wonderful, as I could see Harry falling in love with the sport and getting better and better as the story progressed. Also, Ginny’s and Harry’s relationship is one of the best I’ve read in a fic.

✨ He Who Must Not Be Normal / 40k / Potter has fame and fortune and posh clothes and all he wants is a simple life. Draco has a flat and a cat and a steady job and all he wants is a complicated life. Which makes you think this story has something exciting like body-swapping, but it doesn’t. Instead it has Indian takeaway and a blue jumper and people wanting a whole lot of what they can’t have, discovering themselves as they discover each other.

A really different take on Draco’s and Harry’s life post war. It was both tender and incredibly sad. Loved it.

✨ All Our Secrets Laid Bare / 149k / Over the six years Draco Malfoy has been an Auror, four of his partners have turned up dead. Harry Potter is assigned as his newest partner to investigate just what is going on.

A classic! If you haven’t read it already, please give it a go!

✨ Dwelling on Dreams / 135k / Draco thought he could avoid Potter for the duration of his brief return to England. He’d stick to his schedule and be back home in Paris, where he belonged, in a few short months. No trouble at all. He had plenty to occupy him, what with the opening of the London branch of his successful apothecary, his innovative research, drinks with Pansy, a backlog of unread potions periodicals.

Except Head Auror Potter is everywhere — in Draco's chair, at his door, in his dreams. All six feet of motorbike-riding, combat-boot-wearing, sex-hair-sporting Saviour of the World packed into one unfairly fetching uniform. Potter won’t leave Draco the bloody hell alone, won’t let him breathe, let him forget, let him sleep.

Because no matter how fast Draco Malfoy runs, Harry Potter is always hot on his heels.

✨ Never Mind the Bollocks / 118k / If someone told Harry six months ago that by autumn he would be single, living on whisky and toast, and dancing the night away with Draco Malfoy, he would have told them to get their head checked.

And yet, here he was.

This author is SO good. I never fail to laugh when reading any of their stories. This one in particular is my favorite of them. So messy and chaotic and real.

✨ Jasmine in Bloom / 41k / This is not something Draco can have in his life… Potter overturning all that he’s carefully cultivated. They’re not compatible and never will be. Draco’s been playing with fire. It just so happens that he likes how Potter smoulders before being allowed close enough to burn.

✨ Too Good At Raising Hell / 87k / When Harry Potter walks into Draco’s nightclub looking like trouble, Draco can’t stop staring. He really ought to train his dick not to react so enthusiastically to red flags, but where would be the fun in that?

Drarry as Hogwarts Professors

✨ Finely Drawn Lines / 61k / Draco doesn't consider himself an artist (though the dozens of sketchbooks lining his shelves might suggest differently). IT WAS SO SO SO CUTE

James, Albus, Lily and Remy stole my heart. The friendship between the Potters and the Malfoys felt so natural and tender ugh, I loved every chapter with them on it. Seeing Harry try to do his best as a recently single father, trying to give his kids the love and attention they crave after Ginny left WITHOUT neglecting his other duties? Juggling with the needs of a newborn baby, two moody teenage kids and an adorable ten year old girl? Poor guy was STRUGGLING.

And then, so organically you can’t help but be in awe of the author’s skills, Draco and Scorpius enter their lives: restoring the natural order of things with small gestures and every day domesticity. IT MADE ME MELT 💕

I loved the way Draco helps Harry carry the heavy burden on his shoulders, all without losing that iconic Malfoy sass. AND THEN THEY START FALLING IN LOVE 😭 So slowly and naturally, like it was meant to happen from the start. STOP IT 😫❤️

This fic felt like a warm hug, so tender and fluffy and spicy at the same time. One hundred percent recommended.

PLEASE PLEASE YOU NEED TO READ THIS FIC.

I’m getting sucked back to the Drarry spiral omg.

I read this fic with the dumbest smile on my face for the entirety of it. It’s hilarious, it’s hot, they’re both dumb cops. Ughhh I love them. Both Draco and Harry are so sassy on this one, they banter so much they have the whole DMLE *exhausted*. Their boss is DONE. He wants to sack them but these two idiots just don’t care. They’re soooo horny for each other.

Also, those small moments of vulnerability and introspection Harry goes through are beautiful. They balance the fic so much. It’s a romantic comedy, but also an incredibly realistic portrayal of normal life…like? Aside from the fact that they live in the magical world of course. Harry’s pondering on the war, on his friends and on feeling lonely just made it a hundred times better.
