Headcanon that Daring Charming is actually a brunette and his parents make him dye it because "blonde is perfect" or some low-key racist bullshit like that.
(by "racist bullshit" I mean the idea that perfection is light skin, blonde hair, blue eyes.)

I feel like post Epic Winter he and Cerise had a beast solidarity, Cerise helped him through all the beastly nervousness and overall taught him how to be more free with himself and doing what he enjoyed as opposed to βkeeping faceβ and βneeding to be perfect.β
Which segwayβs to him being selectively mute for the rest of his life, not because animal no talk haha, but because hes burnt out and doesnβt even realize it lmao; also he doesnβt wanna be recognized now that he has insecurities
I also feel like he always had curls like Darling but straightened them out, as I mentioned in my previous post on daring.
On the topic of his hair, he 100% grew it out cuz im delusional and think itβd look nice. :)
His story of being the beast is a lot different than what youβre probably expecting, yeah no hes still beastly in the future, and that leads to the death of his entire family cuz hate and fear fueling human decisions and shit, therefore isolating him and spiralling him in a 100 year depression, blue diamond style.
Heβs not as violent tendencies-filled as everyone thinks and generally just wants to be left alone, but he does get visitors once and a while, usually miscreant teens who wanna check out the βabandoned castleβ or the occasional child that wants to pick the flowers in the graveyard-
(yβknow- just the place where his dead wife and children are buried- totally no emotional βwhat the fuck are you doing get outβs there)
Heβs never violent towards the younger intruders cuz his dad self has a soft spot for dumb kids, but adults on the other hand heβll go full on beast mode if he catches them fr fr.
As for if he has a happy ending or not-
well-
youβll just have to wait and see if I write and or draw it πππ
(also forgot to mention he has and always had magic like physical projection and teleportation but was weakened until he got used to beast mode, hence the trident staff thingy π)

also heres how I draw Daring pre and post Epic Winter (which wow im just now realizing has a LOT of wasted potential, but said potential gets to run freely in my head so I am neutral on it)
I like to think his hair is naturally curly like Darlings but he straightens it cuz #highschool in 2013 b like that, but then the dragon games and epic winter happensβ
