Ladies and gentlemen, I hereby present... a humble excerpt from Eggbert's time in the Red Royal court, starring @thecrazymask83's OC, Rosie, and @just-miki's OC, Miminsy Mime! Part 1.

One fine day, Eggbert was mindlessly walking down the halls of the Red Royals' Castle.

As he walked, he looked up and saw Rosie, the Red Queen's lady-in-waiting. He called out to her, "Hi, Rosie! How are-"

But before he could finish, he could see that Rosie was muttering to herself under her breath, almost in the form of a song, "Everything must be perfect... perfect... PERFECT... PERFECT... every single tiny microscopic little thing must go..."

She walked away, still muttering. Eggbert was sad at the fact that he didn't even get the chance to say hi, when an angry yell from the throne room caught his attention-

"DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!?"

A terrified voice replied, "Y-yes, your Majesty!"

Eggbert thought to himself, "What's going on in there?" Another angry yell came, "Very well, then. NOW LEAVE MY PRESENCE!"

After a few seconds, the door opened, and out came Miminsy Mime, eyes full of tears.

Eggbert called out to her, "Miminsy! Miminsy, wait! Miminsy!"

"Leave me alone!" She cried, still sobbing. Eggbert could only watch as she ran and wept. Realizing what had happened, he worked up enough courage to talk to the Red Queen.

Peering through the doorway, he called, "Er... your Majesties?" thinking that all of the Red Royals were in the throne room. But it was just the Red Queen.

I spent around 5-6 hours on this comic, hope you all love it.

And yes, my headcanon is that Eggbert feels pity for everyone being abused, brainwashed and enslaved in the Red Royals' court, although he was their trusted advisor. This was the beginning of a rift between him and the Red Royals.

During his time in the court of the Red Royal Family, he would try to distract them by scheduling as many croquet games as possible, (because the Red Queen loves croquet) so his fellow courtiers, like Rosie and Miminsy Mime, wouldn't have to constantly stress over how to appease the Red Royals.

After Eggbert's banishment from court, he swore to overthrow the Red Royals, partly to end their abuses against their courtiers, his friends. To that end he defected to the White Queen... but that's a story for another time.

I can't promise any more Eggbert appearances for a long time, since I have so much schoolwork to do. But hopefully I will find the time to make another Eggbert comic.
