Little lore bit:
There is a theory that the ENAs are mass produced war machines/soldiers
This particular fellow is one such ENA. They are composed of Manic and Shellshock. Manic is trying to leave behind their past as a soldier/war machine. Shellshock on the other hand is stuck in the past, still strugging to comprehend their fate. Manic often changes themself, altering their more ENA-esque traits to blend in more among other people, sometimes even if it pains them severely, and that includes mannerism. Shellshock dosen't have much say in their form or control over the body as much as Manic does, but they are very jumpy and prone to violence, and gets absolute control when triggered

okay a little theory im cooking:

okay hear me out! ena's are generally hated or at least not respected. if this entire species' purpose was to just be a weapon, wouldn't it make sense that people generally don't respect them? enas don;'t even have names, they're ALL ena. why name your weapon? why even bother to say the thing's name right? both season 1 and dream bbq ena are very determined when it comes to being given quests or jobs. season 1 ena didn't even want to participate in moony's bet until it was called a quest. they need a motive and have lacked one ever since they've stopped being useful
now my thought for there being a war is:
the dream bbq cutscene when ena talks to the vending machine
the great runas's area is called the "dead god graveyard". there are other doors assumably for other gods. its safe to assume there could have been some sort of fight that ended up killing the other gods.
it doesn't even matter if ena's were good at their jobs. they could have killed thousands, and if they didn't people might still believe they have. its even more likely that they weren't even affective (bbq ena saying "im not doing what you say i am!")
BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY! AN ENA THEORY! THANKS FOR READING!

I'm actually so proud of this... I'll be a Goldenduo truther forever. I decided to combine my Bite Victim = Shadow Freddy hc with this as well, and Cassidy's design is inspired by @chloesimaginationthings

Psyche
“Higher” thought. Self-awareness, knowledge, and situational observation. Not cold and logical. Handles emotions with appreciation and caution, their internal processing plainly visible on their face.
May develop into a heightened abstract emotional state. Floodplain of joy or dread. Stubborn and sensitive.
Soma
First-order thought. Rose tint, mind fog, heartstrings. Handles emotions rawly but subtly. Timid. Ranges from silent to tentatively talkative.
May develop into a sensorium succumbence state. Grimaces as both a positive and negative response. Sharp and inertial.
This ENA may rotate their eyes for expressive emphasis, typically with Soma’s advancement. One eye on either side may roll back as the other retains control.
They switch talking frequently, almost seamlessly, but there are some differences to how they operate:
Psyche actively searches their memory for desired information. Soma recalls memories unwillingly, for better or for worse.
Psyche handles pain with mental grappling. Soma handles pain with tense motion.
When Psyche feels joy, they think intensely about its source. When Soma feels joy, they hardly think at all.
