I love putting beloved characters through the wringer

So, here's another one from December! I was looking at it and wanted to add some pizzazz... so I went crazy with my photoshopping skills

And I discovered this new technique for scanned pencil art- if you add a new layer, paint it black, then set the blend mode to "overlay", it will increase contrast without losing fidelity or making the entire picture too bright/too dark. Play around with this yourself!

It makes a mega difference!

Been meaning to post this. I drew so much Wild Kratts in December 😆

Me and my lil bro used to go outside into the woods all the time as kids, which is what inspired the second and third picture 🥰

So the other day I watched Trolls 3 for the first time, and I thought it was the best out of the trilogy :D [more mentioned in prev post]

And tbh, I need a break from my super angsty WK fic and drawings sometimes so here's some cute wholesome stuff 😂

I watched Trolls 3: Band Together the other day and I liked it! Then I rewatched the previous two (I remember when the first one came out... I was only 12 then), and I think 3 is the strongest movie out of the trilogy. 😚

I love sibling dynamics ARURHGH

They're so fun to draw too, with their shapes and all.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐲𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐭 - 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐭

CPS concept I came up with last month! Hyenas are one of my favorite animals and I wanted to make one for my Vindicated AU story for more suit variety.

Designing this was a lot of fun, I wanna do more CPS concepts in the future :D

Suit Lore- ;)

In this suit, you CAN stand on only two legs, but the suit is really meant to be stood on with all fours, as the back legs were not made with the muscular structure of supporting all the body's weight in mind. (Notice how in humans, since we evolved to carry our body weight with only the back legs, the muscles such as in the thighs are much denser compared to the arms.)

As seen in the drawing, the front arms are thicker than the back legs, to support the torso weight and dense muscles surrounding the scapula (shoulder blade), which greatly aids in grip strength when catching and holding onto prey (much like with big cats). [The suit was built this way for a reason ;).]

Also, the wearer's ears are hidden inside of the mechanical ears, for protection against loud noises.

Justice served on a silver platter... oh how I long for you.

I've finally decided on a name for my Wild Kratts AU- "Vindicated".

Inspired by the amazing Reprogrammed AU, but with my own additions and spin on it. And a key difference-- what if Martin was captured instead?

Feel free to send me asks about it, and I'll share what I can :D (still developing the plot so I don't wanna spoil too much yet)
