You know how Siegbert looks most like Xander. Forrest looks most like Elise. And Shiro & Kiragi look just like their fathers. I was thinking about the fact they act almost exactly like how the four royals died/before they died in the other routes.
Siegbert being depressed/stressed and wants to please his father + is close/protective of Forrest. Xander in Birthright is depressed/stressed and wants to please his father to where it becomes his downfall. Xander used to be super close and protective of Elise.
Shiro being stubborn and doesn’t like losing with a burning passion. Ryoma in Conquest being extremely stubborn and doesn’t like losing to the point of killing himself.
Kiragi is passionate and has a good skill set but is unaware or is unwilling to face his shortcomings. Takumi being a nightmare to deal with in Conquest because of his burning hatred for the Nohrians with a passion and has a terrifying skill set of he isn’t on your side. He is also becomes so lost in his own hatred that it allows him to get possessed.
Now onto my weakest connection. Forrest and Elise. Xander and Elise were close. Xander was protective of Elise, but his slip in not noticing she was gone until it was too late causing her death. Forrest was kidnapped because of Leo having a lapse in his attention span nearly getting Forrest killed, but thankfully wasn’t too late to save him.
To satiate my thirst for more of their story I've decide to come up with ideas of how I think the story would of gone on if they didn't discontinue it/no longer had an intrest on the series anymore. I could be absolutely wrong about all of my ideas, but my imagination has run wild for too long on this and there is no going back!!! Also the person that wrote Beyond the Water’s Reflection uses most of the Japanese names for the story.
First Idea!
•Shinonome and the other half of the gang rescue Matoi, Hisame, and Rhajhat
•Shinonome opens up to Xander a little more and tells him stuff about his and the others past with as vague of details as to not find out who they truly are
•Siegbert's gang escapes Hoshido during the night, but are caught escaping. Most of them escape, but Siegbert. Ryouma decides to use Siegbert as a hostage to lure the Nohrian group to get Shinonome back to Hoshido
•By shear luck Siegbert's group finds Shiro's group using either Velour's sense of smell or Opheila's warping ability (maybe a bit of both). They're all winded and some of them are still hurt from their previous injuries or from escaping Hoshido
•The next couple of days--or weeks who knows?--when everyone is in a more talkative Kisaragi finally snaps telling Shinonome about what happened and that he accidentally told his dad and Shiro's dad on who they actually were and that they don't know where Siegbert is (Siegbert told them to split up and meet up again. They don't know yet that Siegbert has been taken hostage)
•Shinonome is horrified at this revelation. He tells Kisaragi to tell the other half of the group he came with to also not tell the truth. He wants to kept this a secret for now until he finds the right time to tell the truth. He doesn't want mass panic to settle into their group, especially now Kana doesn't have her dragon stone
•Shinonome tells Xander that he and the rest of his group are going to travel to Hoshido since one of their friends is still there. Xander sees the obvious worry in Shinonome's face and asks him why he's worried. Hoshido is a wonderful place and is fairly peaceful, why should he worry? He then replies, "Not if your Nohrian."
•Siegbert is held in a deep—dank (no not the good kind)— dungeon where the sun don’t shine and everyone that is normally on death row is held: neat.
•Shinonome asks to talk to Xander again in their usual spot by the river. Xander shows up as Shinonome slowly starts to ask weird questions like, “What if you found out that the Bottomless Canyon isn’t so bottomless?”. Xander finally asks what is Shinonome trying to say and he lets all of the truth flow out of his mouth (he doesn’t, howerever, mention the fact that they are actually their children in an alternate timeline and that Siegbert is his kid. Xander thinks that Siegbert is just a different timeline version of him or the king of Nohr)
•Skipping forward a few weeks/months? The group heads to Hoshido and stops at the Nohrian side of the bridge at the Bottomless Canyon where they are met with that world’s Hoshidan royal family. Ryouma holds his hand out and asks Shino to come home along with Kisaragi. He says no. He then brings Siegbert out all battered and bruised. Thinking this will convince him to come home he asks again, but Shinonome being Shinonome, he takes that as a sign of war against his group and promptly goes apeshit (as you should)
•He fights with Ryouma who is absolutely surprised to his that his son from another world would willingly attack him, his own father, over a Nohrian Prince. What he doesn’t know is that before his dad’s death, they never really got along; hence, Shininome has already accepted the fact that his dad is already dead to him both figuratively and literally.
•Ryouma realizing, but still not fully understanding, Shinonome loves Siegbert more than he fears Ryouma
•While fighting he compliments Shino on his fighting skills. Shinonome says he talks to much
•Kisaragi just sadly looks over at Takumi from over the boarder. Takumi feels betrayed by Kisaragi and decides to shoot at him
•A battle happens. Shinonome get Siegbert and books it with him
•Xander calls off the battle. Ryouma, being a little shit, decides that if he can’t have Shinonme then Nohr can’t either. He cuts the bridge while Shino is running with Sieggy and is just about to make it to the other side
•Xander reaches out for Shinonome’s hand
•Xander fails
•Shinonome and Siegbert fall into the Bottomless Canyon
•When they breach the other world instead seeing familiar lands they were used too; They were greeted by floating islands, broken lands, and the edge of the world
Second Idea!
•Happens similarly in the first part. But, when Sieg’s group escapes from Hoshido happens differently.
•They almost leave the premises without noticing with Shiro’s Rajinto. But someone, we never truly find out who, sounds the alarm. They panic rushing into groups with missing pieces of armor on and a few weapons on hand. Raijinto, Fujin Yumi, a bow and a couple of arrows, a healing staff, stuff that is light and easy to carry
-Siegbert and Soleil are traveling on Velour’s back (Wolfskin Form)
-Percy and Nina on a flying unit (found out that Ace and Avel are dead because the author said they died in their old world)
-Ignatuis and Sophie on a horse
-Dwyer and Ophelia are traveling using a warp spell
•When Siegbert and Soleil were getting on Velour’s back the were hit with poisoned arrows from enemy lines and when Ophelia was just about to warp out of there with Dwyer a spear’s master cuts the area where she was when she warped
•Back to Shinonome’s POV we see him fall on one knee. His group and Xander panic over him asking, “What’s wrong?” And, “Are you okay?” When Shinonome answers them he says something along the lines of, “Somethings wrong.” Like, he can’t even explain it, but in his gut he can feel the dread of something going to happen or is happening at this moment and it is coming here fast
•A couple hours have passed by and Ophelia warps her group the Shinonome’s. Velour follows her scent as Ace and Avel follow behind her.
•Kinu smells Ophelia and Dwyer’s scent as Forrest sense a magical presence. When the find that it’s Ophelia they are ecstatic to see her, but before they can get a closer look at her, she collapses into Forrest arms as he feels a warm liquid start to seep onto his shirt. As he looks down at he sees blood. He then touches Ophelia’s stomach to see blood is covering his hands as Dwyer, Mitama, and himself start to heal her to the best of their abilities.
•Kinu hears the tell tail signs of a wyvern and a few horses. Siegbert and everyone else arrive mortally wounded.
•Siegbert and Soleil also pass out from exhaustion and being poisoned by an arrow and all of that. Mitama is using all of her energy to save her(girlfriend). Shinonome is panicking over Siegbert.
•Next day; Siegbert and everyone else that was in his group that was injured was put into a pop up medical tent for the time being.
•Xander wants to meet this boy that Shinonome is fond of as he wonders why he cared so much for a single stranger. Maybe it was the look of pain he was in or maybe it was how young he was to experience such a painful wound. Xander wonders how he got so many painful scars that littered the entirety of his frail, small body.
•When Siegbert wakes up he isn’t surrounded by familiar faces, but instead wakes up to find King Xander next to his bedside diligently looking over something important. Siegbert is obviously freaked out by this since his last interaction with a king didn’t end up so well for him and his family. Plus he wasn’t exactly comfortable seeing a living version of his father. Seeing someone you’ve already accept as dead is kinda not good.
•Siegbert doesn’t want to seem rude but he also really doesn’t want to interact with Xander, so his solution is to say he want to check up on the others. Xander says he’ll lead him to them, but Siegbert being uber stressed, lashes out instead saying he doesn’t need any help.
•Even though most people would of thought that as rude(But since Xander royalty most people would think Sieggy insane and wishing for a death sentence.) Xander feels sad more than anything. He should be mad, but can’t. Did he do something wrong?
•Ignoring all of the Xanny and Sieggy Angst(TM). Kisaragi is dealing with his own angst because even though Takumi was—Is his dad—he can’t help but feel guilty for leaving. He knows this is the right choice! Everyone that his group was looking for is with them, sure they are a little worse for wear, but they are still here! He was told about them leaving and decided to leave with them even though he could of stayed back in Hoshido! All he wished is that his dad could one day understand his choice.

Modern!FE14 head canon! The kids are in high school and are apart of the schools underground/black market/or better known as—to keep it on the DL— Overtime.
--Siegbert secretly rules the entire underground of the school. From drugs(Kool aid gummies, quality snacks, weed, nothing ACTUALLY illegal-ish—but is ‘illegal’ in the school), betting on fights/fight club, alcohol, “deeds”, codes to the entire school, is able to change your grades/attendece, blackmail, you get the idea. All answer to him when they want to make a business in the underground. Usually keeps his face covered unless he’s talking with the “Elites” of the underground. Is thinking about choosing the next leader of the underground that isn’t a Junior or Senior. Gets paid handsomely every week. Code name: Golden Ruler.——Shiro is apart of Fight Club and participates in fighting matches and is so far the raining champion while everyone is racing to take his place before his senior year. Is one of the “Elites” of the underground since he’s the champion. Is personally one of the very few ‘Elites’ to see Siegbert’s face and know him personally. He also does ‘personal deeds’ for Siegbert every so often. Code name: Yorozu—— Asugi and Midori are the ‘drug’(-ish) dealers. Asugi sells and makes the candy and so far their are over 300 Kool Aid Gummy addicts in the school and people are try to thwart his Kool Aid Gummy empire. While Midori is actually selling full on drugs; aka weed and homemade drugs that she has no clue what the effects are and uses people as her personal test subjects for the drug. Him and Midori are escorts/retainers for the “Elites” and does their dirty work from time to time. Code names: Maverick and Harmony. —— Caeldori on the other hand is trying to figure out who the leader of the underground is or whoever got blackmail on her and is planning to get her revenge ——Kiragi, Forrest, Percy, Velouria, Selkie, Shigure, and the Kanas are apart of the 80% who don’t even know the underground exists and thinks that this ‘Golden Ruler’ is a rumor or stupid joke. (They eventually find out that it isn’t a joke and they are screwed because of finding out, hence how the story started).——Ignatius and Soleil are Siegbert’s bodyguards and they HAVE to wear masks because if their identities are revealed Siegbert’s might also be revealed. Are considered ‘Elites’ even though they are working for one. Code names: Sun and Moon.——Nina is someone who collects data on a person and gets blackmail. She also does ‘deeds’. Deeds can range from getting a lock combination, getting a teacher password/credit card and the higher the risk the bigger the price and they also can range to ‘personal’ status which happens often but can also dangerous work. Personal deeds are deeds that works like a favor if you do this you get this. It’s a double edged sword. It can range from stealing money, getting revenge on an ex/enemy, protection for a small while, or more actual personal stuff. Occasionally is Golden Ruler’s information collector from time to time. Never once seen his face, but know She is his go to information dealer. Code name: Blank——Ophelia and Hisime know about the underground (a.k.a the basement of the school that just so happens to have a ladder on the outside of the school going down. And that the teachers and principal LITERALLY NEVER USES) and are regulars to it. They get some exclusive stuff you couldn’t get normally. They usual buy some candy or weed, the occasional deed from time to time, sometimes even bets on things/people. — —Sophie found out Underground by accident. Rarely goes out and buys stuff off. Goes to Rhajat or Mitama often.——Rhajat is Sophie’s main. She specializes in curses and is considered one of the ‘Elites’ of the underground due to her powers. She rarely goes out of her way to help/meet Golden Ruler. Code name: Jersey Devil.—— Dwyer and Mitama own a business together and makes sleeping ‘potions’ (it’s just tea that makes you fall asleep. The only reason it’s in the black market is because they can amp up the dosages). Mitama does her occasional readings.—Everyone that goes down into overtime has to have some sort of mask to protect their identity. Just pray to god if the person you want to get revenge/blackmail on isn’t behind one of the counters.
•Rinkah: Has the worst temper out of them all (like seriously extremely out of hand). Lives for the competition. Bares pride in his marks. Wants to learn everything about the Fire Tribe. Is actually very skilled with a club and comes up with extremely clever ways to use it, which seriously worries his father while his mother is blinded by how proud she is. Guerrilla warfare is his specialty. If he had any say in the matter, he would rather be the Chiefton of the Fire Tribe than the King of Hoshido; In his mind (And literally everyone who isn’t royalty or a noble) it’s better to rule over a group of people than an entire country and it’s also easier to communicate with people, getting to know them, and generally knowing knowledge sooner. ———————————————————— •Scarlet: Is very confused as to what he is. He would rather live in Cheve than be in Hoshido. Is curious about everything about his mom and her culture. Is sorta sour when it comes to Nohr (Only in Birthright thou). Finds it confusing when he starts to wonder why his hair is blonde and not brown & thinks too hard on it that he gets migraines often because of that. Wakes up the earliest out of the Shino’s. Got his fishing skills from his mom. Tries to learn Nohrian but it’s kind of amateur-ish, but at least it’s better than his father’s. Likes to stay under anything (and I mean ANYTHING) when winter rolls around and he slowly starts to hibernate when winter rolls around. Loves to talk bad under his breath in Nohrian when he’s in Hoshido and uses it sparingly when isulting people. ———————————————————— •Mozu: Loves being at or near farmland or the outdoors. Is a sweet bumpkiny farm boy at heart. Had his own garden till a noble man destroys it (actually burns it down because he’s suck in the old way of thinking) thinking it was Mozu’s, only to find out it was the Shiro’s; And Shiro was to put it delicately was fucking pissed to hell and back & personaly burned down said noble man’s house to get back for the garden incident. Can easily pick up a bear with ease. Learned to use a spear because of his mom. Ryoma has a hard time connecting with Shiro because he acts more like a farm boy than a Royal and still has difficulty trying to understand his wife’s past station. ———————————————————— •Kagero: Knows how to use surikens and knows some basic ninja skills. Has the most patience out of all of the Shiro’s. Always trues to one up his mom in arm wrestling but fails constantly. Feels a deep need in him to protect others. Also has Kagero’s.... interesting art talent. ———————————————————— •Orochi: Orochi made him learn a bit of Diviner magic just in case he needed it in the future. He loves to use magic for pranking people and misuses magic more often than he will admit. He knows how to do fortunes, though they aren’t always that accurate. Loves to make prank plans with his mom. ———————————————————— •Oboro: Oboro taught him how to sew and make his own clothes. Makes sure he’s always in line and knows the lastest fashion, after all no Crown Prince should look like a depressed hobo. Learned from his mom on how to use a spear from his mom. Values family more than any other Shiro because of it. Had his own version of Oboro’s demon face. Actually enjoys fashion and making clothes and bonds a lot with Forrest because of it. ———————————————————— •Flora: Loves to use his Ice powers. Loves to use his powers to make people jump at the cold. When excited he sometimes accidentally uses his power and makes a warm snow storm. Loves winter more than any other Shiro. Specifically targets his father when there is enough snow outside. Once he accidentally made icicles pointing at a person when he got super pissed. Once caused a major blizzard that went all over Hoshido during a panic attack. Nohr was pretty confused when that happened when Hoshido asked for help to help with a major blizzard, it took a bit of explaining that Hoshido’s Crown Prince Shiro caused the blizzard and couldn’t stop his own power. ———————————————————— •Camilla: Got her yandere side. Loves his family to the death of him, even his father (though he won’t admit that). Never talk bad about his mom or he will personally torture you in the most painful way possible and erase every trace of your existence. Loves to baby Kiragi. His biggest dream he is to be a parent. Loves kids. Can use an axe almost as well as his mom. Once tried to ride his mom’s Wyvern with out her permission or supervision but failed horribly and her Wyvern hasn’t let him on since. ———————————————————— •Kamui: Is more pessimistic than Kamui herself. Tries not to get to attached to people. Unlike his mom, doesn’t trusting strangers because stranger danger. Loves animals a lot. Is more like a gigantic puppy than Corrin!Siegbert (who is an oversized cabbit). When he first transformed he ran after his father, scaring the ever living sh*t out of him. Mom had to flip him over. Loves to compete in his dragon form. When he first got his dragon stone he chucked it at the enemy instead of, you know, transforming. Loves being near people. Is curious about everything, unless he already knows about it. Growls when he’s mad. His dad, mom, uncle/uncles, aunts, and cousin/cousins have to physically stop him from using every dragon vain he sees. When he uses his brain he’s actually a very skilled tactician. ———————————————————— •Elise: Ew. Hell no. This relationship is just platonic. I don’t ship this for a reason.
