Been getting ready for con season. I finished my Axe for Stoick the vast/Skyrim edit. The first axe I made took about 8 hours to make excluding wait time for drying of paint and glue. The second axe once I realized what I was doing took about 6 1/2 excluding wait times also. So in total it was about 15 1/2 hours to make. I used installation foam pads (highly recommend) a wooden craft staff from Wal-Mart (its about 3ft long) black primer aerosols, metallic acrylic paints, screws, an excato-knife, had to use my pocket knife to cut it out the frame, and super glue with wood glue. Honestly I loved this experience and I will hopefully be making more in the future. Got a couple ideas I wanna work on. Oh and I promise to post more once I start on the clothing.
