At last night's Glitch Immersion workshop, we each rolled a D20 to generate a game pitch for us to sketch quick concepts for. I rolled: fast + dark + Street Fighter. Went for literal dark w/cave stages that darken over time during a round. Attacks landing briefly light up the cave. If the round times out and there's no victor, the stage goes black and the weird beast lurking in the background emerges to chomp ya.

Concept for a game I’ve been sitting on for a while, crossposted from TikTok. I’m very passionate about it and more updates will come soon! Some demo animations and placeholder art will probably be next

Again more old art I wanted to post anyway as I really liked at the time, even if I feel like at this point doesn't really represent my level. Those specifically come from a concept for a space shooter game I had and did when applying for my study. I didn't really take it anywhere after that, so that's that. Sadly I have no progress sketches for them. Honestly I'm not even sure I did progress sketches back then.

First one is of the main menu's background.

Second one is the main level's background. I went a bit overboard with it at the time, as I decided to draw each star by hand rather than use a spray tool. And as a result it took vastly more time than painting the background itself. Whole thing took a bit more than a week of me working on it regularly. For a while it also used to be one of my proudest 2d works due to the amount of effort I sunk into it.

And a few years back I made an alternative version of it for a profile background.

All in all, first 2 drawings are from late 2018, last one is from around covid time. I don't remember when tho.
