Oui, c’est moi. I don’t know if I have a sophisticated enough understanding of organized crime, let alone the Yakuza to pull this off. Never say never, but I’m sharing this in case someone out there is looking for a GetoHime prompt, or is thinking about writing Yakuza Geto and needs to see that people are interested. I’m also going to shout out ChloĂ© Jafé’s I give you my life, a photograph exhibit featuring Yakuza and particularly Yakuza wives. It actually inspired a GetoHime story of mine by the same name! The article I read included a quote from one of the wives, saying that she got a tattoo on her neck because “I’m ready to put my life in his hands and keep loving him.” The i-D magazine article featuring it seems to have disappeared from the internet, but you can find ChloĂ© Jafé’s official website here and a quick write up here.Â
