guys. danny phantom is not possessing his own body. if he was, whenever he was "going ghost" his body would drop to the ground. the electricity killed and jump started his heart while his cells mixed with the ectoplasm powering the portal at the same time.

he's half dead, he can switch between human and ghost because of the change in his molecular structure.

the accident messed with his atoms and gives him more control over his body, he's just using wave function to quantum tunnel and stuff like that.

at least, that's how i see it.

This is the FIRST script(/draft) of the beginning of chapter one from my (graphic novel) Wings of The Ravens.

I didn't even give the novel an actual name (there was only the number of the AU) when I made this, and you see this "comic" is kind of old… Just look at the dates on the pictures.

The Ghost Portal model I made earlier was originally made for this, but it was still pretty hard to draw BG even with its "help" at that time. 😂

I thought I could start making pages, but the reality was that I wasn't ready. Things weren't clear at all, and I was busy and my skills of drawing/writing/story telling weren't good enough. So I stopped to learn and prepare.

Anyway, now I think it's just the first script(draft), which means it could be considered as early concept art, and sharing it really seems fine. ——————2019.03.17.

Happy Spring Festival, everyone!

I wish you a happy new year and a prosperous year of the pig. 😁😁😁 It seems to me that portals in GZ could lead to some really strange places. And stepping into a random portal is not always the best idea. You have no idea who/what is waiting for you there. 😂

The creature Danny meets, is often called "醒狮" in my place, but media seldom use the name and it's not on wiki😒😒😒. Dance lions are costumes for dancers, but I think it would be more interesting to describe/show them as actual living creatures. They are unicorns with the name of "lion".😂

My headcanons… Well, "lions" would be considered as earth creatures or (not spooks). They have the abilities to scare ghosts/ evil spirits( sometimes the words might be translated to "demons", 🙄), or even hurt (if they want) ghosts. Ghosts can't do whatever they want to the "lions" and that's pretty bothering/creepy to some ghostly creatures… However, the "lions" are not really offensive or that dangerous. They often eat vegetables and mushrooms (totally different from lions), and they are nice to average/common ghosts. Common ghosts are like common (human or else)people to them. 😊

Though, someone like Danny, is… strange. He's the very powerful kind of (half)ghost, with unknown purpose… Which really confuses the lion. 😂And poor Danny thinks he's facing some sort of fierce monsters… 😂😂😂

I did some researches and studies to design 醒狮, this one looks fine to me. 😁It was hard you know…

The colours of the 醒狮 was inspired by a kind of sea creature. BG was inspired by old houses in 佛山, their walls are made of 青砖 and 麻石, but it's not obvious in this pic… 😂
