even though i'm a little disappointed that he showed up only for one level + i was expecting we will actually see him :((((
now i have a fetus monster painted on the back of my chemistry notebook and he makes me feel safer
i headcanon that Gil can squish through tight spaces like an octopus so he travels through a pipe system in Fontaine Futuristics or something, he looks squishy lol
this came to me during a sleep deprivation, don't ask me for an explanation i have nothing
