Honestly, I mean don't get me wrong I love the movie but the inner dialogue of the characters is so raw in the book. It gives a whole new appreciation to the iconic scenes! Like when Sofia cuts her hair. Yes the film is revolutionary and uses beautiful techniques to capture the heavy symbolism of the film but trust me the book adds so much depth to everything
