no cuz this plagues my mind so much like sure Kalim may be seen as pure sunshine child but most of the time that’s all they see in him and it’s so sad ppl are more willing to dissect Jamil due him obviously being evil so ppl want to see what’s his deal why is he so suspicious and so mean? but with kalim he is what most people to imagine as the average shonen protagonist he is a stark contrast to all the others in twisted wonder being happy oblivious seemingly stupid and kind not to mention the fact that he is incredibly privileged which means that when his negative traits show they stick out and because most are not like uber rich we may relate more to Jamil and his struggles struggles and anger the feeling of not being able to do your 100 having to serve or work for someone who seems less valuable to you having to mask how you feel not being able to be free under the system plus the fact that he overblotted allowing us the peer into his thoughts the short of it? he feels more mysterious relatable and ‘interesting’ he’s so messed up you wanna see him get better or explore him more with Kalim on the other hand he’s optimistic kind cheerful oblivious naive and super rich that and he doesn’t seem to be all that special compared to the rest of the cast it’s more difficult to relate to him being kidnapped or poisoned everyday isn’t too common compared to indentured servitude and because that is the most obvious of his struggles people imo don’t care as much he doesn’t truly allow himself to open up he tries to be all happy to cheer others up he knows that skill wise he’s lacking
