୭ 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐘𝐀 𝐈𝐙𝐔𝐊𝐔 as the shy, unassuming yet friendly boy who sits next to you in class. he's always offering his lecture notes to you, picking up whatever you drop from your desk like the gentleman that he is, and makes a cute habit of tapping your chair lightly as a form of congratulations when you answer a question right. (he wishes he was bold enough to pat your shoulder instead) when he eventually does get bold enough, he'll stand by after school ends until he sees you, offering to carry your bag and walking you home if you'd let him.

୭ 𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐆𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐈 as your childhood friend whose house is right in front of yours. one minute you're bickering nonstop as you're walking to school together, and the next he has a firm hand on your shoulder, moving you to the safer side of the sidewalk without uttering a word about it. relentless teasing is normal to the two of you. he's told tons of embarrassing stories from your childhood, but once you remind him of that time you took a bath together when you were four, and you tease him for his "teeny weenie," he could only glare at you as you let out a cheeky snicker, unaware he's actually more flustered rather than embarassed of the memory. he's also had to put up with his mother gushing over you two. mitsuki claims that she's already planned out your wedding with your mother years ago. he acts irritated; you act embarassed, but there's no way to forget everything mitsuki said.

୭ 𝐊𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐀 𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐔 as your best friend's older brother, always radiating a warm, approachable aura. whenever you come over to their house, he tidies everything up, prepares the snacks himself, and will insist on walking you home when it hasn't even gotten dark outside yet. you'd have to keep your composure when your best friend starts gushing over their brother asking them about you on multiple occasions, "was l/n there? is l/n coming too? how's l/n?" when he runs into you at school, eijirou likes to give you and your best friend little headpats and friendly side hugs when you part waysー you're convinced eijirou's just the embodiment of the word comfort itself.

୭ 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐈 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐎 as that dreamy-looking, gentleman of a guy, who goes to the same train station as you and has once let you fall asleep on his shoulder. although his initial instinct was to tap your shoulder and wake you up, it doesn't take a while before he decides not to, seeing how peaceful and adorable you look. he can't explain the warm, fluttering feeling in his chest as he gently props your head into a more comfortable position on his shoulder, careful not to wake you up. when you eventually wake up and immediately apologize for dozing off on his shoulder, he doesn't feel the slightest ounce of annoyance or discomfort, but he does feel the urge to protect you at all times. the next day, he sits next to you again, and he feels relievedー maybe even a bit overjoyed when you start talking to him. the day after, when there's particularly a lot more people on the train, he doesn't shy away from standing closely next to you. when people start bumping you, he cages you with protective arms, his hands laid flat against the wall next to your shoulders, while still leaving a respectful distance between you two. you're not sure whether your heart can still take it, but for once you wish the train would move slower this day.

୭ 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐈 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐊𝐈 as your best friend who never misses the chance to flirt with you. your friendship is anything but boring. when you unintentionally say things at the same time and with the same tone, when you do your ridiculously complicated, secret handshake yet pull it off flawlessly, and when you exchange flirtatious remarks nonstop and burst into laughter that's loud enough to echo around the room, people can't help but find your friendship wholesome (and want to bang your heads together). no one's surprised when denki stops flirting with other people, but it takes you aback when he starts talking a lot more sincerely about his feelings for you. when he does confess to you eventually, you don't know whether to kick his shin and tell him to quit joking or just say that you've also liked him secretly since day one.
