<3 digimon reblogge honestly an amazing summary of part of the appeal for Digimon (in my opinion at least) I think part of why Digimon resonated with me slightly more in some ways than Pokemon in my teenage years was because of this idea like having just one monster companion but can change into multiple (temporary) forms dont get me wrong the concept of having a party of monsters in Pokémon is fun (and I know some Digimon media has had that too) I just love the idea of a monster bestie who can evolve into a bunch of species with a sometimes at-best tenuous link between forms lol also Tentomon is my favourite I LOVE MY ZAPPY BEETLE DORK FRIEND
