Quick messy doodle about a head-canon that would not leave me alone. What if link had light blue eyes (or whatever color you headcanon him with). When he splits with the four sword each of the boys has one eye that matches their color, and the other matches links eye color. When they go back to one links eyes are the same color as before, but they catch the light and reflect the four colors.
