Panel 1 - DDD and MK hanging out together, sitting side-by-side on the floor of a nondescript room (presumably in Castle Dedede). MK is hunched over against the king’s side, rubbing his eye and looking exhausted. DDD looks down at the knight with concern. DDD: Well, don’t you look plumb tuckered out. You pullin’ all-nighters again, Blue? Meta: *Mmngh*, not on purpose this time, no. DDD: Aw. Lemme guess. Couldn’t sleep? Too much thinkin’? Meta: (smaller text) … Maybe. Panel 2 - DDD leans back with a confident expression, his hand raised to point a finger up in inspiration. DDD: Well, if it’s shuteye yer aimin’ for, I think I know of at least *one* surefire way to get ya there! The knight tilts his head back, blinking up at the king blearily through the visor of his mask. Meta: Hm? And what’s that, my liege? Panel 3 - A title card in the corner reading “Later that day…”; DDD in the foreground to our left eating a sandwich, glancing over his shoulder in vague annoyance as Kirby and Bandee trot by in the background, waving at him. Bandee: Oh! Greetings, Great King! Kirby: (bigger text) Hai~! Bandee: Um, you haven’t see Meta Knight, have you? We’ve been looking for him all day. Panel 4 - close-up shot of DDD discretely pulling open one side of his cloak and peeking inside, revealing MK tucked away in an oversized pocket stitched into the lining, fast asleep with his wings curled around him. DDD: Eh, nope, can’t say I have. Reckon he’s busy or somethin’. Why don’tcha check back tomorrow? I’m sure he’ll turn up by then.
