Curate, connect, and discover
If i had a nickel for everyone time there was a blue dog that ended up being fem, which pissed conservatives off so much they took away their sons merch of the entire show to make sure their sons wouldn't turn gay, I'd have two pickles, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice, right?
If I had a nickel for every time I got into a piece of media wherein there was:
- a mystery centred around the death of this high-status asshole who kind of isn’t dead
- a main character audience-insert who you never see and who must solve this murder with the help of the other characters
- the ex-wife of said high-status asshole, who hates him and has powers of precognition
- someone who was framed for the death of the asshole and has to flee
- a pre-established (and possibly romantic) relationship between the audience-insert and their ‘boss’
- that ‘boss’ character, who tells the audience-insert half truths in order to protect* them
…I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice
I've seen some notes about how they had a trans man playing Canaeus on Netflix's Kaos, and how great that was, but very little about how they have a disabled actor (Mat Fraser) playing Daedelus. And what an incredible, complicated role it is in the show; a man doing the best he can with what he has, using his incredible talents as much as he can. Fraser is a remarkable performer in a hell of a role. (source)
Okay I would like to add to this post that forced feminization is also a thing in one piece aswell
HOLY
Uh
I'm not letting the voices win
I think the reason why Ivankov is such a character to me is because these type of characters to me, only exist in fanfiction.
Someone that can literally change your/anyones body? Yeah that some fanfiction type bullshit.
So to have a litreally fruit that explicitly does that and not poke fun at it??? Like its supposed to be a gag but it's not written thay way??? Appalling. Ivankov themself was like important to the story aswell.
Ivankov you're an icon, you can do no wrong fr fr
I think the plot of JJK was Yuji and Megumi trying to figure out what it means to save someone and the conclusion was them deciding it's enough to just save each other.
If I had a nickel for every time a teenage girl whose name started with a "Say" had short unnaturally colored hair, blue eyes, was childhood friends with the protagonist, fell into depressive state, and was from a Japanese piece of media, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
(I accidentally added the 3rd GIF; please pretend it doesn't exist)
The last character you drew/wrote about is now stuck in the last game you played. How screwed are they?
