I've begun to notice something
I no longer hate the face I see in the mirror. I no longer scrutinize every feature on my face. I like my hair. I like my eyes. I look in the mirror and smile instead of grimace.
Sometimes I catch myself checking myself out, feeling good, and I giggle and turn away embarrassed, but as I turn I catch a glimpse of the joy on my face, that's when I look the best I think.
I still avoid mirrors, but now I look more. I'm happy with myself more. Slowly but surely, I'm getting better
