This is Hoffman’s mosasaur, the ocean’s deadliest predator; but he’s not here to eat, he’s come to be cleaned. And when you need to look your best, nothing but an all-over body scrub will do. Fish, shrimp, pick the scales shed from his body. Resting at the surface allows this sea-going, air-breathing lizard to fill his lungs and relax.
