Y’all why is it apparently so hard to grasp that if you name the Reader in your fics, it’s no longer an ‘x reader’ I don’t care if you still have the descriptions either ambiguous or customizable (ie; e/c, h/c, h/l) because at that point it’s just like a mad libs. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT give this character a name and still call it an ‘x reader’ because that’s not a fucking ‘x reader’ anymore. Uess it is actually relevant to the plot do not give me a description and do not give me a name(unless and ONLY unless it’s a code name).
If in the planning/initial writing phase, you really don’t want to use y/n, fine, but when you’re done just use the ‘find’ tool or whatever it may be called and just replace that name with y/n or don’t call it an ‘x reader’ it’s that simple
genuinely don't understand how some fanartists will completely blackwash characters and then continue to attack people who whitewash characters. they're both problematic. racism goes both ways. yes, white people started it, but black people and every other race can still be racist.
