in contrast to sugar ray my jakemarco song is afraid of hieghts by boygenius partly because the line about climbing cranes in it threw my violently back to a line from book 1 where jake verbatim admits to having climbed one of the construction site cranes while marco watched and it made me realise that he'd had the exact same reckless nature as rachel from the begining it just wasnt as obvious because of the e burden of leadership
