Well, I guess I was right about having read a bunch of johnlock fic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Though, I only read a couple at the beginning of the week before straying into other fandoms and then coming back and reading a ton more. My finals are coming up and I have been really busy between work and school so I’ve been destressing and relaxing by reading fic late at night when I get off work.

(Or the one where John returned from the war and ended up working for Mycroft as his personal assistant slash doctor on retainer. Everything was fine, until he was sent to post bail for one Sherlock Holmes.)

One of my favorite things was how much John worries about Sherlock because in their line of work it can ocassionally be really dangerous (as we learn). As each memory is lost to him, Aziraphale loses a part of himself, loses moments that formed his very nature. At the beginning, it was Crowley who showed him there is more to creation than good and bad. That it’s more complicated than black and white. With that forgotten, Aziraphale becomes exactly what Heaven wanted him to be in the first place: unattached, blind with loyalty, unquestioning. The perfect soldier. And, as if the last 6000 years had never happened, Crowley becomes the enemy.

Enjoying Aziraphale’s cnversation, and company, far more openly than he has in most of Aziraphale’s memory. And Aziraphale know that he himself is just chattering on, letting conversation tangents carry him along, and---it’s definitely relief, for him, knowing for the first time in a long time that they aren’t being watched, that no one is keeping score for now.

The Yi City arc is one of the most heartbreaking parts and I ry about it everytime about how tragic it is. This feels like it could have easily been Canon and I’m already feeling the need to reread it.

It’s really enjoyable reading about Kirk interacting with all these other Vulcans and how exotic they think he is. Especially when Spock starts acting a little wild as well.

This week I’m fairly sure I read a lot more fic. While school and work have both kept me incredibly busy when I get free time (early in the morning or really late at night) I would relax by reading fic. As a multi-fandom person I usually read fics from multiple fandoms but this past week I went kinda crazy. 

However, Sunday I finally decided I would dive into the Sherlock fandom. Specifically johnlock. I think over a year ago I might have read a brief fic about these two but never really dived too deep into the fandom. Even though I kinda peaked at shipped them when watching the BBC show. I feel like next week I am going to have a lot more Sherlock fics.

Overall, I jumped around a few fandoms and I’m ending the week by (once again) becoming obsessed with Star Trek TOS/AOS fics (a.k.a spirk) and managed to find some new favorites (one of which I already recommended to my best friend).

Anthony J Crowley is fucking great at this job. He can be sneaky, underhanded and damn ruthless but also charming and kind. It’s what makes him good at turning.

Aziraphale is just a regular Soho bookseller who loves his shop and books and good food and wine when he’s approached by a woman claiming to be MI5, wanting to recruit him for espionage. The poor man is too trusting and gets the shock of his life when he’s approached by a charming but dangerous-looking man also claiming to be MI5.

Crowley recruits Aziraphale to double cross a double crosser and Aziraphale takes to espionage like a duck to water.

Danger, hijinks, and sex ensue.
