I had a dream. Like, a weird dream. I dreamt of Jinx, while I never watched the manwha (I just saw some videos and a friend explained it to me)

In my dream, Kim Dan was in reality a spy. Like a strong spy that could kick your ass if you mess up with me. All of his “cute and innocent” personality was just an act, except for his grandma like he really does love her. Why does he get together with Jaekyoung? I don't remember why in my dream, but I knew there was a reason. Also, his spy partner (not dating but like a duo) was potato. But potato's real name was Soogyu (if I remember correctly)

It was very strange…

Last month, I watched "Spirit" - the movie from 2002. Because of Jinx, of course. 🙄 I just wanted to see why tf so many people compare Jaekyung 🥊 with this horse 🐎. I started it with low expectations. It's an animated movie for kids, after all. And Western! That's why I wasn't sure if it could be enjoyable for a person like me who doesn't watch stuff like these. Well.... I was wrong 😐. I actually ended up not just liking but also loving this story. The main character, Spirit, which really has a loot of face similarities with Jaekyung, actually is much better than this boxer dude. Unlike Jaegeng, this horse is emotionally mature, responsible, kind but at the same time spontaneous, caring and affectionate. Charming as well. The way he treated his lady and the way Jjk treated Dan has nothing in common. Spirit's actions were full of love and caring, Jaekyung's actions - they were imbued with a complex mixture of vague feelings. But I do realize why things are this way. Like I said, Spirit is emotionally mature while Jaekyung is not, so... yeah, you get what I mean. Overall, I like this movie. ❤️ It was interesting, well written, and emotional. Did it make me cry a little when I watched it for the first time? 😢 Yes, it did. But that's the reason why I was so impressed by it. Therefore, if you haven't watched it yet but don't hesitate any longer and go give it a try. Because who knows, maybe this story would become one of your favorite, too. 😊🩷

Jinx thoughts

Am I the only one who thinks that lately, Lezhin started promoting Jinx more often and consistently than ever? Are they doing it because they try to keep readers interested in the story?.... If the answer is yes, then I think this won't work because readers are already too tired and disappointed by Jaekyung's behavior to the point where his promotion only feels irritating and out of place.

One year ago, on this day

The last episode of Jinx Part 1 was realized, and oh boy, nothing has changed since then. Jaegeng is still a stupid jerk, Dan still can't find a way to escape from him, and on top of everything now, Dan is swept by depression and alcohol to the point where he almost drown in the ocean.... When will this story start to progress?? Is it even possible at this point that Jinx's plot can start to make sense??.... Honestly, I lost any hope. Whatever happened in this story from now on will only feel rushed and out of place...

This is what I expected from Jinx s2... So why tf is Dan not like that???

I decided to drop Jinx. What Jaekyung did to Dan's face was disgusting. It made me feel nauseous. There wasn't absolutely no reason for him to do this exact thing... No matter what he did from now on, I can't forgive him this thing. Also, I really don't get why people are so excited about the aftercare scenes. What is so special about those moments? What sparks of hope are people seeing in them?

For me, there wasn't anything like that at all. Just Jaekyung treating Dan disrespectful as usual and then him acting like a character from a basic bl story where every action is predictable, where the character does exactly what the reader expects him to do no matter if his actions looks logical and thoughtful or more like he just acts out of character without any reason or explanation for his sudden change that would make sense.

I am sorry, but at this point, I can feel much more romantic chemistry between Zheny and Taekjoo and even Haewon and Haeyoung compared to Jaekyung and Dan. Also, the last time I felt genuinely excited about the new Jinx chapter was probably January 2024... After that, with every new chapter, I was more and more disappointed by the story.

That's why I am dropping this series. I prefer to read stories that make me feel good or give me something for which to think about instead of manhwas which only make me feel bad, sad, angry and disappointed.

My favorite moments from Jinx 66 ch. ⬇️. I like to see these Badum panels. For me, they are proof that Jaekyung has started to develop way more deep feelings and attraction towards Kim Dan than he, himself, realizes.

How would Jaekyung and Kim Dan be like if Jaekyung wasn't so emotionally detached and blind about Dan's suffering:

When we will see Kim Dan and Jaekyung acting like lovers?? When will they finally be happy together?? WHEN??? 💔😭 I can't stand seeing Kim Dan suffering in almost every new chapter anymore!! I want him to be happy! Mingwa, please, have mercy on him! 🙏😭
