Muzan hasn't seen or heard from Linidow since her got married to Kokushibo and he is to proud to admit that he worried
He would try and slip that he wants to see her into casual conversation with Kokushibo
Luckily Kokushibo got the message and tells him that he and Linidow had a child
To say he was mad was an understatement
Kokushibu invited Muzan over without informing his wife.
Big mistake.
"Why is he here Kokushibo?" She said, ignoring her father's presence. There are very few times when Kokushibo is nervous and right now is one of them. The tension in the air could be cut with a knife.
"He wanted to see you... and Kuraku." He whispered the last hoping that she wouldn't be too mad.
Linidow didn't want her father to know about her child, she felt like he was going to use Kuraku to his advantage.
"Out." She finally faced her father.
"No." He replied in a low and cold tone, "I'm here to see the well-being of you and my grandchild. I see that you are well now where is the boy."
If there was one thing about her father that she knew for a fact it was that once Muzan has his mind set on something he wasn't going to stop untill it was achieved.
A small voice caught the attention of everyone. Kuraku.
"Mama" He said, "who's that?"
Linidow tried to run to reach her son but Muzan was faster.
"I'm your grandfather. You look so big and strong. How old are you?" Muzan picked the child up and place him on his hip as he examined his grandson.
Kuraku held up 3 finger with a proud smile.
Linidow felt sick to her stomach as she watched. Kokushibo tried to comfort her by putting a hand on her shoulder but she shoved him off and walked up to her father.
"See father, he's good and healthy but it's time for bed now." She held her arms out for her son, which he gladly leaned into.
Linidow went to Kuraku's room with kokushibo following, after he saw Muzan off.
Kuraku was out like a light after hitting the pillow, Linidow ignored kokushibo as she tucked her son in.
"Linidow." He wishpered and followed her out of the room.
"Linidow." He called a bit louder this time. She continued to ignore him as she made her way to their bedroom.
Once she reached her destination she stopped in the door way and turned to face him.
"Go find somewhere else to sleep."

He wasn't there at the moment so Makio and Suma kept you busy while Hina made snacks
You tried to explain who you were by saying you name and what happened but they didn't get it
I guess they thought you weren't right in the head or something
"Oh our father in law has the same name" -Suma
When Tengen came back he recognized you immediately
He explained everything again and they realized you weren't crazy and were actually their FIL
They gushed over you for the rest of the day

That didn't help ease his worries tho
He watched over you like a hawk
He went on missions less and instead watched over you
No matter how many time you tell him your fine he just can't take your word for it

she'd do multiple check-ups out of confusion

The triplets help shinobu while trying not to stare at you they look away when you catching them

Aoi acted as if nothing happened, she never treated you differently and even snuck your favorite food to you when Shinobu wasn't looking

It's been days since you've been back and your father has you on watch with his most trusted demon, Kokushibo. Currently you and kokushibo were outside of the castle 'having a breather' as he would say.
"Koku, What happened to Akaza?" You asked as you followed through the darkness, He never said where you were going but you knew you were safe with him.
"I don't know." Was all he said as he kept his eyes forward.
"What about Douma?"
"Who knows."
"Daki and Gyotaro?"
"Red light district."
"Is that where we're going?"
"No."
"Then where are we going?"
"Wait and see." He flashed a small but rare smile. That smile quickly went away as you asked more questions.
It was like you were playing 21 questions and kokushibo's patience was gone.
"Enough questions y/n." He stopped walking and you almost bumped into his legs. "We're here."
You peek around his legs and instantly your face lights up.
"A FLOWER FIELD!" You screamed in excitement and took off running through them. It was as far as the eye could see. There were many different flowers, roses, poppies, lilies, salvias, and more. The night sky dulled the colors but you could see each different shade.
"Don't go to far, this place is home to civilians. I don't feel like killing tonight." He chuckled at your excitement.
"OKAY!" You screamed back at him with the biggest smile.
"And don't be too loud." He added as he watched you have the time of your life.
You played for hours with kokushibo. You put flowers in his hair. You convinced him to help you make flower crowns for the other uppermoons.
You made a Boquet for your father with every kind of flower you could find.
'he might not like it but I'll give it to him anyway.' You thought as gathered everything to get ready to leave. The last one you picked up was for Akaza, a flower crown with pink and blue flowers.
You hadn't seen him since you've been back. You that he's at the castle but you can never find him, you wouldn't find out about any meetings until they were over.
Whenever you mention it to Muzan he dismisses you.
"C'mon y/n the sun will be up soon." He held his hand for you to take as the both of you walked back to the castle.

your father wanted to visit for a weekend and he's a fickle old man and favors Tengen over u

anytime your father comes for a visit he makes trouble for you but now that everyone is older hopefully he grew out of that
You decided to make your father's favorite dish while he chatted with tengen and his wives.
"so what brings you here this time pops." Your dad hates that name but because Tengen used it he's fine with it.
"Do I need an explanation to visit?" He chuckled.
"Of course not, our house is always open to you." Hina smiled as she helped you set the table and serve drinks.

So there's a species called a Doppelganger in MGE (Monster Girl Encyclopedia), and they read the mind of their beloved to find out what type of person they are into. They don't choose to interact in their real form because they (i believe) think their real form is unattractive. Imagine that, with Muzan. Doppelganger! reader turns into what he believes is perfect for him but is honest about what they are from the start. (so it doesn't make muzan feel like he's being lied to.)

He has six eyes bloodshot eyes. He was no longer human.
"M-Michi what have you done." You backed up until you back hit the stove, burning your hand in the process. He tried to reach out to you but you held your hand close to your chest.
"I gain the curse mark, like my brother, on my mission but the mark has a strain on its holder and they die when they reach 25. I was going to accept my death until a man offered me eternal life in exchange for my skills and loyalty." He explained but you couldn't look him in the eye.
"We can live together forever, We don't have to worry about death or anything for that matter you and the kids will be safe." He tried to hold you but you stopped him with your burnt hand.
"My love, I would never do anything to hurt you. You know this." Kokushibo opened his arms, usually, you would gladly jump into his arms but instead, you flinched away from him.
"Do I? I have seen what demons do. How would I know your not the same." You questioned.
"Because I love you, I would do anything for you."
"You traded your humanity for immortality. To be human is to live and die. You are no longer human, no longer the Michikatsu I know." You scowled at him.
"Mama is something wrong?" One of your youngest children said from behind your husband. You quickly rushed to hug him.
"Everything is alright, go get your siblings we're going on a trip for a little while."
Your child seemingly ignored you as he looked over your should at his 'dad'
"AAHHHH THERE'S A DEMON." They cried. That broke Michikatsu's heart. He couldn't see why you couldn't accept him anymore. You had loved him for years without fail.
He stood there and watched as you took his children and ran to the safety of his brother and wife.
After that he had fully embraced the name Kokushibo, as given to him by Muzan, and let you live your remaining days with your humanity intact.

Uppermoon 1 was going to be the hardest to take down. In strength he was the closest to Muzan, you stood no chance.
Even if it takes your life you'll gladly do it for your found family.

Akaza showed up and came straight for Tanjiro who was injured and laying on his back.
"why would you go after a wounded person first over me?" Rengoku asked as he blew back the demon.
"I thought he would get in the way of our little chit-chat is all."
"What is it that you would like to discuss. While this is our first-time meeting, I already dislike you." Rengoku said with a straight face.
"Is that right? Well, I dislike weak human beings. The mere sight of them makes my skin crawl."

Inosuke scoffs and says, "You don't have to tell me that I'm always more careful than you."
"That's great Inosuke." Tanjiro beamed. Inosuke didn't know how to feel about it and he didn't have time to figure it out before a raging demon came at him.
He dodged and cut the head off just in time. If he weren't the great boar king, he might've died.
"I found something!" Zenitsu called out. Inosuke and Tanjiro were quick to follow were the voice came from.
They found Zenitsu sitting with his back turned to them. He was cradling something in his arms.
"Is everything alright, Zenitsu?" Tanjiro asked cautiously approaching the lightning slayer.
"I don't know." He turned around slowly with you in his arms. Your eyes we're open and bloodshot and tears were pouring.

You gripped the back of Kagaya's kimono.
Kagaya's son, Kiriya, patted your head, "It's okay, your safe here." He whispered and gently pulled you from your hiding spot until you were seated in front of him.

Broken ribs, a busted eye, and almost completely exhausted. Rengoku was not doing so well, this fight was definitely one of the hardest for him.

What started off as a regular ranked mission turned into a hashira rank as upper moon 3, Akaza, arrived.
A fight started with you all having a major advantage and not giving him a chance to adjust to the constant barade of attacks.
"4 against 1, that's hardly fair. Let's even the playing field, shall we?" Akaza said as he created some distance between all of you. His eyes wondered over each one of you like a predator deciding which to eat first.
His gaze landed on you and before you could react he plunged 2 fingers into you head, allowing his blood to flow into you.
Inosuke acted first, running towards you both swords swinging at Akaza. Tanjiro was next pulling you away from the upper moon as your veins started to show from your skin.
Tanjiro got you a good distance away and laid you on your back, Zenitsu was bouncing all around you in worry. Your eyes we're rolling to the back of your head.
"I- I'm so- rry- I was too.... Too weak" You sobbed as you chocked on your own blood.
Your vision became clouded.
In that moment you lost all control.
Your nails dug into tanjiro's arm as your speech turned inaudible, you tried to pull him toward you in an attempt to bite him.
Zenitsu wrapped his arms around your middle and ripped you away from him.
"CONTROL YOURSELF Y/N" he screeched, tears free falling from his eyes.

When Sanemi was younger you would constantly visit him and his siblings, oftentimes helping his mother with his "father" when he was drunk. Sanemi and his siblings were yours.
You hated seeing how Kyogo would treat your kids, but you vowed not to say a word because Shizu did not want to tell him that they weren't his.
Unfortunately, you weren't there when tragedy struck.
You came clean when everything settled down. Genya was ecstatic but Sanemi was about to beat your ass.
"You let us deal with that asshole for YEARS and said NOTHING!" He screamed as he pounded on your chest.
"I'm so sorry, Your mother swore me to secrecy. I wanted to tell you so bad." You said, catching his wrists as he tried to punch you. You could barely see his frustrated and tear-stained face right before he pushed it into your chest.
This poor 14-year-old boy had lost his mom and siblings but at least now he has a proper father.
"I'm glad your my actual dad." He muttered as his arms fell limp.

Obanai
When Obanai was born he was immediately taken away from you and your wife, who unfortunately just passed from birth complications. Being in the infamous Obanai clan is hell on earth.
They didn't care that he was your son, what mattered to them was that he was the only born blood male of the entire clan.
(ya know when your family thinks that they are entitled to something you own just because they're family) Obanai grew up just thinking you were a father figure who called him son. You were always there for him especially when he was still in the clan's clutches. While he was with the clan you told him many stories, one of which is about your wife and that she was pregnant but had complications and died during labor, but you never said what happened to the baby.
Today you were watching him train, he looked a bit off, like he had something on his mind.
"Hi son, did you eat today?" You ask interrupting his training with bento boxes in hand.
"No."
"Come eat I made lunch." You beckon him over with a wave of your hand and he listened.
He sat next to you and asked, "What happened with your baby?

Your words marrinated in Iguro's mind as he realized you narrated his childhood.

He didn't respond, instead he scooted a little closer and laid his head on your shoulder and started to eat.
It felt like an entirety before he said something, "thank you... For everything."
Giyuu
You were absent for most of his life, he only knew you existed from letters you'd send him and his sister.
He didn't know what you did, where you lived or if you had a second family, so when he met you he didn't think you were his father. More like someone who looked out for him while he took your spot as the water hashira.
He only found out because he went to your house and found a picture of his sister on a offering table in a spare room.
"Hey who's this?" He asked and you walked into the small room.
"My daughter. I wasn't there to save her but my son is an excellent fighter, a hashira."
Giyuu just stared at you. His eyes starting to tear up
"Are you alright?" You tried to comfort him but he backed away and covered his face with his hands.
"I'm fine this room is just dusty."
"Okay." You chuckled and patted his back.
In a blink of an eye and turned to face you and hug you.
If any other Hashira were present they'd certainly tease him.

Sometimes you would talk to Gyomei and Genya while they were about to go in for the night. Giyuu was always busy so you barely ever saw him, but Shinobu hardly ever slept. She reminded you of your father, the way he would slave over test tubes in hopes of finding something that was seemingly impossible.
Mitsuri and Obanai were rare to find but when you did it seems like you would find them together more after the death of Rengoku. Muichirou is your favorite to go by, he treats you like a little sibling

he may be a demon but he isn't heartless, he is more intact with his human emotions than anyone else
he could tell that upon your return you were different
Normally you would get on everyone's nerves until Muzan stopped you. You still did that but there were moments when he would catch you staring off into space

He knew you would leave almost every day and he just let you. He couldn't bare to take another punishment from Muzan plus you attitude improved everyday

Akaza was livid not because of you, in fact he was glad you decided to come back, but because of Hanafuda. He had no other choice but to run, the sun was coming up, couldn't he see that?
"It's alright, I'm not mad at you." He said as he rubbed you back and continued on his way to the infinity castle. He knew you were asleep but it still felt good to say.

You woke up in your room, on your bed surrounded by a multitude of pillows. Everything was the same as when you left it, at first glance at least.
Slowly you got up and looked around.
It was like you were in another dream, nothing seemed real yet. Even though you didn't have much time with Rengoku he taught you a lot. He was the first human death that you experienced.
Walking around your room, you notice yourself in the mirror. You looked the same, but something was clearly different, you couldn't put your finger on it.

"AKAZA!" You jumped out of Kyojuro's arms just as he sensed him too.
Rengoku pushed you behind him. Akaza went after Hanafuda, but Rengoku stopped him by slicing his arm. Behind Rengoku you were closing Hanafuda's wounds.
You knew someone was going to die now that he showed up.

"I thought he would get in the way of our little chit-chat is all."
"What is it that you would like to discuss. While this is our first-time meeting, I already dislike you." Rengoku said with a straight face. You would've laughed if not for the current situation.

Become a demon Kyojuro, doing so will allow you to better yourself for a hundred maybe two hundred years." Akaza waisted his breath trying to persuade the purest human you've ever met.
"Both growing old and passing away, these are things that make being human beautiful. Those may seem like weaknesses to you, but our lives are all the more precious and honorable because of them. You see true strength does not refer to the physical body. This boy is not weak, don't insult him. Let me be clear, the two of us will never see eye to eye no matter what twisted reason you give. I will not yield."
To Akaza his speech meant nothing but to you, it opened your eyes even wider. You already knew that the human was fighting for their lives against the demons but the conversation between Akaza and Rengoku showed you the big difference between demons and humans.
Demons don't die unless they are killed, Humans die regardless, and yet they still fight to preserve whatever life they have.
Your father was once Human, is he scared to die? Is this why he's been trying so hard to find the blue spider lily. Your father may be a demon, but he is afraid of death just like a human.
"I see. Technique development: Destructive death compass needle." Akaza got into his signature fighting stance. "I guess I'll just have to kill you then."

They both were so fast, you couldn't keep up with it. From the looks of it neither could Hanafuda.
'oh right hanafuda' His wound wasn't fully closed yet he was still trying to move.
"You shouldn't move yet." You warned him, he didn't listen.
"I'm fine, thank you."
"But you're not!"
He tried to get up again as the boar head was ready to fight too.
"Stay there!" Rengoku scared all three of you. "You can't reopen that wound of yours it'll kill you. Let Y/n heal you." Even midbattle he is looking after others.
"Y/n healing a human. What have you done to them, they never cared before." Akaza's attacks were relentless you wanted to go and help but what could you do.
You've never been in a fight before and you don't take pain well. You could only watch as you healed hanafuda.
You couldn't bare to watch it anymore, even when the battlefield grew quite.
"I will see my duty fulfilled. No matter what it takes no body will die here." Rengoku was tired and you could tell, that was it.
Smoke clouded your vision as Hanafuda shielded you.
The smoke started to clear and Rengoku could be seen with a pained expression.
"Ren-" Akaza punched him straight through the stomach. "No." You muttered.
Even with all his injuries he still tried to cut off Akaza's head.
Hanafuda acted quicker than you, running to grab his sword.
