Lumenetta AU:

The last survivor of the Umbra Witches, this witch is said to have instigated the Sage Persecution to gain the power of the Eyes of the World in order to resurrect the Queen of Hell. Once upon a time, this witch was cast out by her clan when love blossomed between her and a Lumen sage and a child was born. The witch was banished into exile and the sage was imprisoned. Despite all this, the forbidden child learned the powers of light and became the treasure of the world, the right eye of light.

Lumenetta AU:

A close friend of Bayonetta who, like her, is one of the last survivors of the Lumen Sages.

During the Sage Hunt, they fought together against demons from Inferno but many sages died in the process to protect their Lumen-cathedral. In this terrible war, Bayonetta lost her father when her own mother killed her father.

The last Umbra witch, Mother Rosa, cast a demonic spell on Jeanne in order to rekindle Bayonetta's memory so that the right eye of light could finally awaken. Like Bayonetta, she has a contract with a cardinal virtue, the cardinal virtue of Justice Iustitia, because in her heart is the great trust to bring justice to the world and protect the innocent.
