that's honestly pretty valid! I can definitely see that (his face is kinda round-ish for a fox) Initially, I decided to go for a fox with Anji because of their known trickster imagery with the Kitsune (plus their loyalty!) along with their shapeshifting abilities too (plus a tiny fox getting up to no good with a big wolf just barely tolerating it is kinda fun in concept to me :D)

It's pretty fun seeing what other folks come up with for animal associations with different characters
like with Anji I think I've seen someone also do a tanuki? I've also seen someone mention a Kamaitachi for him
but idk a fox just seemed really really obvious to me for the longest time I guess
which is kinda funny because Kitsune are apparently supposed to HATE dogs
