Elspeth Spindle from One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig. I recently finished The Shepherd King duology. I loved it! I sacrificed sleep to finish it in record time, and it took me out of my reading slump . I can't wait to read the author's upcoming new book.

Inspired by Alfred Tennyson’s The Lady of Shallot, in her final moment when she finally sees Camelot. I heavily referenced Pre-raphaelite paintings and old fairytale illustrations.
