I was making this as part of a thank you to my instructors and at some point sat back and realized the picture looked oddly familiar.
Turns I out I drew something of similar form 4 years ago which is when I started at the school I’m currently graduating from.
It nice to see that while I have adapted, changed, and grown over the past years, I’m still essentially the same person I was then. 🧡

Text: Have you ever forgotten to just sit back and listen?
I may or may not have set up a station on Pandora based on Fleurie’s song ‘hurts like hell’ and told my brain “have at ye, just don’t think.”
Here is the text in case you can’t read my hand writing: Do you ever look up from drawing and suddenly notice a blurry thing at the top of your vision, And upon investigation Realize it’s the pencil you stuck in your hair and forgot about over half an hour ago?
