AU August - Day 8 - Kwami Swap
I loved the Reverser episode’s new character Marc Anciel (especially the pun!) and I really liked the way they played out the idea that Nathaniel was actually going to be meeting Ladybug (instead of Marc). So here’s the what if to that.

AU August - Day 6 - Hogwarts
Why did I decide it was a good idea to draw the entire class? Let's just say I went a little overboard with a Miraculous Ladybug Hogwarts au. I figured a boggart defence against the dark arts lesson would be fun to draw. I’ve got this sad horrible headcanon that Adrien’s boggart would be his dad.

Alix: *sets skull on table*
Nathaniel, Adrien: *look at her*
Nathaniel: Alix?
Alix: Yeah?
Adrien: Skull?
Alix: Oh, yeah, it’s my brother’s.
Adrien: Oh, okay.
Nathaniel: It’s your brother’s?!
Alix: He was annoying me, so I grabbed his skull and skated off, but don’t worry he has plenty.
Nathaniel: Alix, no, like what the fu-
Adrien: Nah, seems legit.
Nathaniel: *losing it*
Adrien and Alix: *don’t see what’s wrong*
Alix: Any idea what’s wrong with him?
Adrien: Not at all.
Alix: Me and the girls plan on getting ice cream, wanna tag along?

When he was younger everyone told him, one day he’ll meet a girl, they’ll fall in love, get married, have children and live happily ever after. But you could say he lives to prove people wrong.
Because he’s sitting on a worn out couch and watching a movie with his family.
Family, you are probably picturing Adrien sitting on the couch with his arm around his beautiful wife, Marinette, their three children sprawled out around them and the Hamster somewhere too.
I’m sorry to tell you because Adrien is sitting on the couch with his arm around his boyfriend, Luka, Nathaniel sitting on Luka’s other side, rather drawing than looking at the screen of the tv and Alix sprawled out over them, her head by Nathaniel and her feet on Adrien’s lap.
Thisis his family.
Instead of a beautiful and lovely wife he got a handsome, creative and extraordinary Luka.
Instead of an shy and adorable Hamster he has a socially awkward and absolutely talented Nathaniel.
And instead of noisy and annoying children he got an even noisier and more annoying Alix.
Though, if he had to choose, he wouldn’t want it any other way.

Dreams

It wasn’t much of a task. They were supposed to write down their childhood dream for class.
But for some reason Adrien had still struggled with the task.
He watched a lot of old recordings and looked at his drawings and some pictures.
In the end, he was satisfied with the outcome of his research.
And Mme. Bustier was now asking everyone what their childhood dream was-is, it depends.
She started with Nino, logically.
“I wanted to be a bubble breathing dinosaur.”
Nino earned a few chuckles for that.
“What a nice dream, Nino. Adrien?”
“Oh, I always wanted to be what my parents want me to be and to make them proud of me.”
“How nice of you, but do you also have a childhood dream of what you wanted to be for yourself and not your parents?”
“I just want to be the perfect son for them and make them proud.”
“Alright. Marinette, what is your childhood dream?”
Adrien felt like he said something wrong, maybe he understood the task wrong.
“I dreamt of being the knitting fairy.”
“Well, you’re on a good way to become a sewing fairy. Alya?”
“I’m not sure miss, I can’t remember and neither can my family.”
“That’s alright, Alya, don’t worry. Ivan?”
“I wanted to have long and pretty hair like my mother.”
“Your hair may not be very long but it’s very pretty. Nathaniel, what about you?”
“I dreamed about being a comedian.”
No, he did understand the task right and he did as told.
“I have to say, some of your comics are pretty funny. Juleka?”
“Do I have to?”
“No, of course not. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing then that’s completely fine. Rose, do you want to share?”
“I wanted to be an angel because they help people like doctors or fairies.”
Maybe Mme Bustier didn’t like his answer, but he fulfilled the task.
Mme Bustier smiles sadly at that.
“You would’ve been the greatest angel. Max?”
“Roboter.”
“I hope building one is as good. Kim?”
“...”
“He fantasized about being a model.”
It was an interesting thought.
“I don’t know if this was you place to answer Alix, but your turn now.”
“I wanted to be the best at everything I want break every existing rule or boundary.”
“Then nothing much changed. Myléne?”
“I-i often pretended to be a plant.”
“What a beautiful dream. Okay, Chloé?”
“I wanted to be like my mommy.”
There’s it again! The same expression Mme Bustier had at his answer!
He knew Chloé and her mother didn’t have the best relationship so it was understandable.
But what is wrong with his answer?
He doesn’t have much time to dwell on it as the class broke out into laughter over Sabrina’s childhood dream wanting to be a Rock’n’Roll legend, not being able to imagine it.

He’s been going to the Francois-Dupont for years now but still wasn’t feeling like he was a part of the inner circle. Like sure he was in the class but he also wasn’t.
He was never there when they hung out at the weekends or after school. And it wasn’t like they aren’t inviting him to tag along, they ask every time, he’s just never allowed.
Sometimes, like right now, the group phones him so he can somehow be there to.
Marinette who is holding the phone sat down next to Alix who was putting on her rollerblades and Nathaniel who is trying to sketch out a new part of the next comic.
“Hey, Kim, can you do a plank, please?”
Kim, Alya and Max stood a bit further from the others talking about something Adrien couldn’t understand through the phone. However, at the mention of Kim’s name they walked over.
“Hey!” Alix punches Nathaniel’s shoulder “I can do a plank too, you know.”
“I know, but you don’t have the kind of statue I’m trying to draw.”
The conversation went on and on and it was great to spend time with his friends but it wasn’t the same.
He just wasn’t a part of the group.
He often felt like no one really took notice of him in those moments. He was happy but still, he just wanted to be there, with them.
He’s just tired of being isolated from... everything.
Nathaniel: You know, I came here to talk you about the fact that boys don’t get periods, like at all. But now we’ve been once talking for hours because you’re just so damn interesting. And we only talked about your way to school!
Alix: I could just stop being interesting, I mean- watch this!
Alix: *freezes*
Alix: ...
Nathaniel: Hello?
Alix: ...
Nathaniel: Well now I have to wait here and see how long you can keep this up!
*Nathaniel and Marc are chatting, Rose gives Nathaniel advice*
Rose: Ask him something.
Nathaniel: A-alright.
Nathaniel, texting: How are you feeling today?
Marc (Text): I’m fine.
Rose: Something more personal.
Nathaniel: Okay.
Nathaniel, texting: Do you already have your period?
Rose: Boys don’t get those.
Nathaniel: But... but Alix, she... she
Marc (Text): Two years ago.
Marc: I like your Shirt!
Nathaniel: Thank you!
Nathaniel: *whispering to Rose* What do I do? He said he likes my shirt. Do I give it to him???
