It's so funny how uniting Monstrosity is for both the entire fanbase and seemingly all sorts of members of the Ninjago crew??? Both the Hagemans and Tommy have tweeted positively towards this trailer, and rn there's a post on Twitter with almost 10 thousand likes??? Bro is Monstrosity gonna be the next big Thing for Ninjago or something???

Btw someone asked how i did the animated belt movement here: It's not clothing simulated (tried that but didn't work), so instead it's animated separately as 2 solid objects using armatures (with damped track modifyer)

the Ninjago monstrosity trailer got me fucked up so I scribbled down some random ass sketches trying to replicate the style of it bc it’s absolutely fucking gorgeous. the only thing I changed from the style was giving him a little nose :3

Daidan is a sick name for a dragon!!!! And it's so perfectly fitting too. Like yes that is what a Daidan would look like?? It fits so perfectly with the ninjago universe while still being so unique... I love her so muchhh the baby I hope she enjoys the wet cat she was gifted (Kai)
