also yes, this takes place during the 2 second fight Jay and Kai had in Crystalized. as you can tell, the version of this scene in my au is WAY more intense- welp.

the Ninjago monstrosity trailer got me fucked up so I scribbled down some random ass sketches trying to replicate the style of it bc it’s absolutely fucking gorgeous. the only thing I changed from the style was giving him a little nose :3

this is just a quick thing I sketched out bc I couldn’t get the idea out of my headddddd after I heard the sound for this on yt somewhere.. umm it’s like 4 am for me rn and I’m tired as hell (obviously) so I don’t really feel like explaining this allll yet but! it does still happen like, during Crystalized. sorry, this storyboard is pretty messy and honestly this whole post is.. but I promise I’ll get around to explaining this! <3

hiiiii soo. I decided to hop on the bandwagon and do some hazbin hotel redesigns! (IMPORTANT NOTE: I have not watched nor do I like hazbin hotel or its creator Vivziepop. I do not like her and I do not justify or support her. I just thought it would be fun to redesign some of the characters, starting with Angel Dust.)

I hope you guys like this redesign!! :3 there are many other better angel dust redesigns out there that utilize his spider features way better but I tried and I just couldn’t get it to look right in my style :’( so this redesign is mainly based on changing colors and slight variations for his outfit. yes, he has the fluffy spider butt bc I love that feature of his design smmmm. and he has more spider-like fangs!!

woooooo! super proud of this one!! I might’ve drawn it at like 2 am last night but damn I cooked ? anyways.

soo if you saw one of my previous art posts of Kai (identities au), you would know that he had a burnt arrmmmmm (he is the burnt chicken nugget) and now I have revealed why that is NYEEHEHH! >:)

Kai burns his whole right arm while grabbing the fangblade, still holding onto Lloyd- his arm is mobile whenever he has his powers, but if his powers are gone (which would be in season 5, season 11, and whenever he comes in contact with Vengestone), his arm would be too scarred to use since he never got the chance to let it properly heal.

yes, Kai still unlocked his full potential, since he went after Lloyd first. He was far too determined to get the blade, since it clicked in his mind; "well shit, if I don’t get this blade now then Lloyd and all of Ninjago will be in danger because of the great devourer!…welp time to save Lloyd AND get the fangblade!!!!!"

Kai was originally supposed to die in this au so you’re lucky all I did to him was make him a burnt chicken nugget

I only made this a sketch because I was mostly practicing my anatomy/body types! I’m reallyyy proud of how this came out.. but sorry to Jay v-v I had to squeeze him in at the edge there 😭
