reblog drrr izaya orihara wearyeerie oogh love that you made this comp for him!! big fan of the use of red with the bar coming down the middle the contrast of the red against his cold pallor with the lighting over half of his face that brings out that red gleam in his eye and how it falls over the fur on that side i just really like the pinkish hue it casts over him concentrated on one side while the other side of his face is obscured under scribbly shadow beneath his hair your brush texture is really nice for this btw i like how you've used red to highlight parts of the line art and give some of it a sorta backlighting effect okay enough about the red he looks sooooo bastard the way you drew him i like the hand pose you've got going on for him the way his fingers cut over the sharp of his smile and the rough texture around his eyes giving him that sleepless look like the really fished him out from the sewer biiig fan of the sharp tufts of his coat fur :0 and the way it's laid over his shoulders frames him really well also i keep looking at the cuffs of his sleeves idk the way you drew them looks super satisfying to me ahh i like how you've scribbled in parts of the shadows too the tumbling chess pieces are cool you really went and rendered those things just for him also it's probably just your canvas size but i like the crunchy look of your signature and handles no joke i think it helps them look not so out of place which i think can be kinda hard with typed text also helped me find you on twitter so it's doing it's job
