appearance this legitimately breaks my heart he changed the subject back to why SHE asked him out there after successfully lifting her spirits and encouraging her only for chrissy to remember the reason for their meeting …….and the /reason/ for their meeting she isn’t okay he tried to help. she knows and there’s a split second of wanting to stay perky for him and on principle too because she does that for everyone else but clearly eddie sees right through her. it’s a lost cause so she gives up and wilts she needs more than weed to stop what’s haunting her now that he’s brought the topic of the sale back around she has to figure out how to ask but she tried. for a moment she tried to stay cheerful so he wouldn’t be disappointed again they were having such a nice moment then it slipped away and it’s not even the fact that he’s making a show of practically giving away a sale people are nice to her all the time because she’s Chrissy but no this…..this is her stuck between an internal rock and hard place giving in and being honest with him which is SO uncomfortable and so dangerous but he feels safe so she risks letting her mask slip
